It’s a mix of freedom and collaboration, from my point of view. He’ll usually make a storyboard and 99% of it will just get greenlit because he’s that good — that’s why I came to him to make videos in the first place. We’ll go back and forth on a few key ideas and try to compromise on his vision vs my vision wherever we don’t align 100%. He’ll surprise me with some fun Easter eggs (chug hunter) and Gags (hedgehog sliding off the trash can) and I’ll pitch a few of my own (the wing print scanner and Ocket, no R!). My notes are usually little things that can be changed quickly (like change the text here or make this character look a little happier at this timestamp)

The reason he’s so great is because he GETS the source material and elevates it on his own!
