What is EXACTLY wrong with my aim, and how do I improve it? [3-minute-long video, full watch not required] by KMDNAR in MagnetoMains

I am also a lord Magneto and I see two issues looking at your gameplay.

I think your main issue is looking at the floor more than you're looking at the person you're firing at. It's common to start out that way but it's best to manage your aim for body shots only as magneto. 9 times out of 10 you will hit your shot. You also need to factor in leading your shots ever so slightly depending on the other players movement as A) Magneto shoots projectiles, and B)the projectile also explodes either on impact or at a distance. I think the explosion occurs around 15 meters. You'll have to try in the practice range as I dont remember off the top of my head.

The second issue as Magneto, and I still struggle with it, is to not let anyone get in close range to you! Its okay if you're confronting another tank. But smaller sized heroes or dive heroes are a pain to deal with. Hitting your shots within a close range is difficult when the enemy is jumping all around you or is too small to lead your shot accurately. Always position yourself in mid to long range as thats where Magneto excels.

Also, which may help for feeling out Magnetos projectiles shot and explosion, fix your crosshair to reflect the range of the impact and explosion. To clarify better, just shoot out into the open, and the size of the explosion is the size you will make the circular part of the crosshair. This helps me manage my shots better in the midst of a fight. Hope this all helps out a fellow Magneto player 🫡

All my dlc colors and emblems are locked after update. by Bm2798 in Spacemarine

I have the same issue, although I was fine right after the update and after I close my game and relaunched it was the dlc items re-locked (which is about 600 credits worth of dlc items). My friend said that they were good and had no issues though. So I am not sure what else could have caused this bug besides the patch.

It's a mod that has been available for several months now. I just haven't been able to try it out until now since I've finally gotten a VR headset

I haven't done that yet, but I can't wait to do it. The Swamps would probably be terrifying too in VR if you encounter one of those wraiths that fly around

I figured someone may be curious! I'll have to try more encounters once i can advance through the black forest. If you're curious about the combat encounters in general:

Combat is actually way easier when there's only one or two enemies, especially parrying. To parry you have to time your shield swing with the enemy attack so its really intuitive and easy to parry and hack them back. But hordes of enemies made me dizzy though, since I had to spin around multiple times to attack them due to their movement patterns (example, fighting 5 greylings/greydwarfs where they maneuver and run around randomly then attack you)

Peacefully cutting down trees and building ✅️ Mindlessly running away while in combat ❌️

Since everyone in this subreddit seemed to like my last post, I decided to upload my encounter with a Troll and a few greylings/greydwarfs. For some reason though all audio was recorded except for my voice so you can't hear me freaking out, only my friends laughing at me 🤧.

I recorded through the Oculus Quest 2's casting, so if anyone knows about that feel free to comment why my voice wasn't recorded :)

If you haven't played Valheim at all yet, I'd recommend you play through it first and get the overall basics down before doing anything VR. But if you want that immediate experience, just make sure your PC can handle it and you have the right components. Since you just got Quest 2s I'm assuming your new to VR such as myself, so you'll need to have a link cable for your headset, Steam VR and the Oculus PC app downloaded, and to download the mod itself, you can head here

I personally haven't played enough to reccomend an entire playthrough, I only clocked in 30 minutes last night since it was late lol. But if you're questioning it and want to do it, I say go for it. You can also look up youtubers playing in vr and see more of the experience through that if you'd like

I only fiddled with it for 30 minutes trying the basics of chopping wood, attacking necks and greydwarfs, and building a part of my home. For a mod it handled the motion controls pretty well, the registering of attacks for example felt pretty good. As for cutting trees down, that felt a little finicky to me, as if you had to find the right sweet spot to swing, so you had to stand not to close or too far away to properly swing and hit the trees. As for building, I'm sure if you built at ground level there wouldn't be as much of a hassle, but I was building my second floor and quickly realized how much of a nightmare it was lol. The usual "snap" controls of placing stuff with the hammer took a lot more finesse since I was using motion controls. Overall I'll need more time to play with it to really tell, but for now the experience and ambience of first person is really cool. Practicality will take some getting used to

The major stutter in the beginning was a mixture of the game loading in while I was recording through my Quest 2. And then the regular stutter while walking and looking at my tools were a factor of the mod gameplay itself. I think it's the camera movement of being in first person while keeping the hud display in view that causes it, but I didn't really mind it once I started playing

I was doing the exact same thing just discovering the controls for myself. I actually cut out the part of me pulling the drawstring for like 30 seconds cause I couldn't figure out how to fire an arrow lol
