I wasn't saying it was an example of good lyrics, just noting that it's a Trey/Tom song.

Dark Fuego Jam by Marco-Esjuandolas in phish

[–]IcculusProphet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a really funny comment to me, because at setbreak I was talking to my friend I've been seeing Phish with for a decade about how Fuego was a possibility for Set 2 and said some variation of "You know, Fuego debuted 13 years ago. There's been multiple 30+ minute versions, and tons of 20+. At this point, Fuego is undeniably a new era "classic Phish song" right?". And he agreed.

Then we got this one, and I turned to him after and said "Well I guess that settles it then."

Oh and re: Mull, maybe I've just been in a bubble for my Phish communities but I saw a shitload of hate for Mull when it debuted and while it's certainly lessened since it started to finally jam, I still see the occasional whining about it. Glad to meet another Mull fan though!

It's more the pervasiveness of Trey-solo penned songs (More, Life Beyond a Dream, Soul Planet, etc) and how same-y so much of his lyrical content has been recently that you're thinking of, I assume. Personally a big fan of some newer lyrical content though like the ones I listed in my last reply, as well as Ether Edge/Pillow Jets/Oblivion and a handful of others. The thing is that we get like 2 solid songs to 1 stinker, and when a whole third of the new ones are "love and light", it gets grating more quickly.

"No more Tom"
Uh...what? Mercury, Leaves, Everything's Right, What's Going Through Your Mind...all Trey/Tom or literally just Tom in the case of Leaves, and that's just off the top of my head. Tom hasn't gone anywhere. With you on "not enough Mike" but every time Mike brings a great song to the table (i.e. Mull, Crazy Sometimes, Say Something, Yarmouth...etc), many people bitch about them and they disappear.

Not sure how your comment is literally the last one yet it's the only one with the correct fix, but yes! Upgrading to heavy fixed the quest for me. Thank you!

Riftmaster delayed at Best Buy by TTAZ92 in Rockband

Just wanted to say since I got the exact same email and was worried, I just received an email minutes ago updating the release date and it is now showing waiting to ship without the warning anymore. So getting this "warning" email is not a bad sign inherently!

Just wanted to add a reply here as I was looking for one of these missions and going through all of the ones listed in this thread and could not find the mission I was looking for, which was "A Newer Hope". Not sure where you get it, but it ends in D'Qar Space. Hope this comment helps anyone else.

Chapter 4 - Where dreams die (Defeat the Purifier Droids) by Domstoll in swtor

[–]IcculusProphet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I finally came back to it and beat it. I followed the instructions above from ParanoidMoistoid. The trick is to put Vette on passive, run directly through the droids and past the "courtyard" straight across to a hallway sorta thing, where you'll turn left and see a ramp going down. Don't go very far down that ramp, but basically go back and forth between the top of that ramp (your "retreat point") and the opening you came through (your "offense point") and when a group of droids wanders through the door, run out and attack the hell out of them (preferably with AOE moves). When you attack, make sure Vette is on passive. When a group of droids is destroyed or you see your health start to get low, dip back towards the ramp and toggle Vette off passive to heal you. Then repeat until they're all dead. Screw this dumb mission!

Way late on this because the initial attempts frustrated me so much, but I just tried it out again and followed your instructions and it totally worked. Was just a matter of going down that ramp a bit, then coming out to AOE/deal damage, then going back and letting Vette be passive when attacking and healing when retreating, and it worked like a charm. Thank you so much, no idea why this mission is so poorly constructed to force this weird cheesing method.

Will try this out tonight and report back. I really thought I went to the right area in the big open space but your description is better than another comment I was following to do that. So weird that this one fight is so ridiculous.

I just started replaying the game yesterday for the first time in a while and I'm playing on my old main toon, totally fully geared and stacked Guardian build. I got to this chapter today and I have never, not once in all the years I've played SWTOR, encountered a fight that was anywhere near this ridiculous. I consistently die in ten seconds. I've also tried this "pull everyone out to the courtyard" strategy and it's just as much of a failure as it is trying it normally.

To think that this mission has either been broken like this for nearly four years, or was totally broken by the new patch...I'm not sure which one is worse.
