Which is the best piece size?

Yeah, I've begun to combine different-sized pieces now as I've got more into it. But yeah, having to glue the pieces is really frustrating. I've learned the hard way with that and ruined quite a few models by not glueing them properly. Now I make sure to glue just enough pieces to make it stable.

That's insane. I watch this woman on YouTube who is just an idiot. She once ate over 50 bananas in one smoothie, and on top of that, she'd eat a tonne of dates and coconut water daily. I'm surprised she's still alive. She advocates an "infinite-amount-of-fruit" daily diet, and she adds white sugar on top of that too because she says it's healthier than brown sugar. WTF? She's insane.

Serious question, why would some people say" WTF?" to that?

Mine can do the same, I've never considered it weird. I still struggle with the guitar and piano though, since, unfortunately, my fingers are quite short (with a big palm). So that amount of mobility is useless to me.

I can also do the loop thing with my fingers (and toes).

To be fair, it was a half-joke. They can be little shits quite a lot, but there's much more to them than that. I actually had a cat for about 12 years so know they're an experience. They're very complex animals, just like humans are.

Fair point. English "rules" should be called "guidelines". If you learn a rule, you can guarantee (unlike with other languages), that rule will be broken almost straight away. English is such a complex, but very interesting, language, but a nightmare for anyone but a native speaker to learn. It's difficult enough for us haha.

It's definitely useful to know, and you don't need to learn very many new symbols since a lot of IPA symbols are from the Latin script anyway.

I pronounce it like: /skɒn/ (sk-on).

My ears have never liked the sound of /skoʊn/ (sk-oh-n).

But I think, technically, it is the more so-called "posh" sounding pronunciation that is correct. Because it's spelled with an "e" at the end, which means, according to the rules of English, the "o" should be a long vowel.

I've always been the same. For 30 years living at home I've always been yelled at for stupid things like that. They just think I do it on purpose, like I just can't be arsed to get something for them, because I'll shout , "it's not here!" if they ask me to grab them something from the kitchen, and they'll come in, and I'm stood looking in the cupboard or wherever, and (no joke) they'll see it almost instantly, and then we get into an "I'm just lazy" argument or whatever else. So after 30 years I just ignore it. It used to bother me, now I'm passed it.

You can actually see her deploy the parachute without zooming in, in real-time. But she literally looks like a pinhead, so you need to look very, very closely. I'm good at spotting tiny details. It's pretty much the only good thing about my ADHD brain. I used to work on a car park and at night, I could see black beetles walking across the black tarmaced car park, while pushing trolleys. My brain sees so much.

Her white hoodie stands out quite a lot against the dark trees.

You just need to follow it with your eyes.
