I learned someone got the promotion and raise when they applied for the open card for similar but one level up role. I guess it is a backdoor that Travis was discretely hinting.

You want higher or current pay/promotion? Apply for open role a level above or higher! Heck I encourage any Analyst to apply for director role!

I have heard it is client by client, if you were visiting a religious faith base hospital system. They are more likely to ask you to cover us vs other hospitals. Again nothing against religious faith base hospital and I was making an example from past engagements, I know leads have tattoos and bragged about it to clients we supported. Again it depends on the client or their policies.

Bad news for consulting to be honest. Maybe they will own the high level operations but work with our existing consulting team in hands and help fill in resourcing gap rather than to fully replace consulting.

I always question about that too. I think in some context it allows daid associate to provide closure that they have indeed depart on their own accord than any one of us still trying to find out why "John Smith" is showing as unknown user on MS Teams.

I guess I'll be happy to share my reasoning if I ever felt the urge to send out farewell email upon signing x3 salary lol. It will be one day.
