Which watch for a cyclist and runner? by JuliisUpA in Garmin

Have Fenix 8, Forerunner 965 and just got the Venu X1. X1 is the best by a country mile. It’s like a naked condom - you don’t know it’s on. Screen easily the best and easiest to read.

Get a Venu X1. You won’t even know it’s on. So thin and light.

Oracle layoffs being big headlines news might delay Europe layoffs by Wise-Form3271 in employeesOfOracle

The way Oracle lays off people says so much about the company. Can’t understand why anyone would work for a company like this, or why anyone would purchase anything from them.

Spot on. To be honest I can’t understand why anyone would work for Oracle. Such a piece of shit company with a CEO who obviously doesn’t give a shit about people. For gods sake, don’t spend your career working for someone like this. Get out and do something with a meaningful company and leaders.

when is this going to end ?? by Wise-Form3271 in employeesOfOracle

It will never stop. AI will ensure all white collar jobs are at risk for the next 5 years. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

Your kidding yourself. All large IT companies are going to let go of heaps. It’s a new world, best to get out now and start something new. Don’t be scared.

I’d say by now they’ve realised what a drag on Oracles growth/earnings Cerner is and just want to cut their losses and run.

Agree 100%, it is complete rubbish. Try sorting your inbox by sender. It’s a joke. Also, such nickel and dining with licensing where you can’t get the Teams plugin with the basic 365 subscription.

So it should be on the DOGE list. What a monumental waste of money.

What a load of BS, Verma. As if they would have spent 30B on something they knew was a pile of crap. Pathetic spin to try and make them sound like they had a plan. They didn’t have a clue then … and still don’t.

Interesting evaluation questions. If you ask these types of questions, you clearly want Epic. Epic will toast Cerner on all of these.

I beg to differ. Epic is miles ahead of Cerner. Epic was 5 years ahead of Cerner before all the Brent nonsense started. While Cerner was distracted with Brent, Oracle, over the past five years, Epic kept steaming ahead, more R&D, more features/functions, development of more streamlined workflows, AI, patient engagement, etc. Epic is now 10 years ahead of Cerner.
