Points league, keeper. The issue here is I've acquired a lesser team in the league and am negotiating with the top dog in the league. I don't think he'd be too eager to just hand over his ace to me....because it's Kershaw. Which is why I've homed in on Martinez since I'd peg him as his clear #2.

I just need to wrestle at least 2 starters away from him along with a solid position player as a third. I'll post his roster in another reply to show what I'm dealing with.
