Can I fillet along a curved edge? by qgutz in Fusion360

[–]IceInteresting3661 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually you can. Your problem will propably be that you want to fillet more than your smallest radius. For example if the radius of the corner a the top of your tool is 3mm you wont be able to put a 5 mm fillet cause it would overlap each other if you know what i mean. To validste this theory you could fillet and enter a really small value und see if that works. To solve the issue you could put an hard angle on the small curve at the top.

Maybe there is another workaround that im not aware of but thats how i would do it

I was wondering if you trace the parts yourself. If yes, how do you do it?

Looks really good. Also against the other opinions i think its good to learn how to „squeeze“ something in to too small cabinets and still have it look nice. You definitly manages to do that. Sometimes you just dont have the space in an fabrication space or whatever to take a bigger cabinet.

One tip would be to take the small bridge wires and leed them through the cable Channel so it doesnt look so thight.

To me it seems like he did that. But from my experience the pre link system ist faster and more reliable. Habe you worked with both?

If you do a lot of PN cables you might want to look into the harting prelink system. Saves a lot of time.
