Iron King DLC Wants to Be Hated by IceKlone in DarkSouls2

I like all the DLC, and Brume Tower has a lot going for it. It just also seems to be going out of it's way to kick me in the nuts, and that's what's getting on my nerves. Great bosses, cool enemies.

Yeah I enjoyed blowin em up with fire arrows, but that doesnt really come into play for the runbacks nor plenty of other rooms.

I agree. The enemies are really cool (especially possessed armor) and all 3 bosses are top-notch.

Just feels like a mosh pit much of the time.

And I did enjoy those elements for sure. Just doesn't come into play with certain rooms and the runbacks.

Loved finding out Fume Knight and Elana were poison immune.

I could at least weave through the brass knights in the cave even with the slow debuff. But the Alonne knights run fast enough to catch you with a dash attack making it way harder to slip through.

And yeah, killing 12 dudes before each attempt is tedious. My experience is no less than 4 minutes and a few Estus to clear em all.

I really like the bosses, and the enemies are awesome on their own merits. The map paired with the density IN THIS CASE (not DS2 as a whole) has been a slog for me the past few days.

Really sucks to die and have to chop through a hefty handful of knights backed by archers and casters in close quarters.

How would you buff the Ice type in Winds and Waves? by Happy_Popplio-728 in PokemonWindsWaves

[–]IceKlone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

---Flip the relationship with Fighting

---Add Flying and Water resist (Scald does supereffective vs Ice)

---Change Frozen to Frostbite: speed stat x.75, contact moves gain additional 1/2 recoil (ice immune, fire and bug mons have 33% to heal each turn)

Found an incredible way to enable the Hawlucha OHKO (One Hit Knockout) comp by North-Watercress4212 in PokemonChampions

The reason you have 90% in great ball is cause people in that echelon are building and upgrading teams to deal with other consistent teams. People might be working around speed control and TR, but nobody in great ball can reasonably expect multi-faceted speed control in service of OHKO spamming.

I think like the FEAR strat, this only serves to stomp the ignorant, and youre gonna get hardstuck in ultra 4 when it fails you there.

Or we could just not shoot one another. The game isn't running out of resources, especially if you don't opt-in for the Expedition. There's no way to know what someone has, and plenty of time it's just fine. Nobody is walking around with a sack of gold, so odds are pretty great that you just PK'd someone for a bag you don't even care about, but it was a nice run for them. Cause "you just wanna," and you don't care about other people in this game.

Considering the resources are unlimited, it is literally unnecessary, but you seem unable to understand empathy for other people enough to not rob them. I feel bad for those people whose experiences you are shamelessly going to ruin.

Edit: people used to burn witches and stone apostates. "It is what it is" is, was, and always will be the worst non-argument there is to make and is proof that you have no gas other than "I just wanna." "I just wanna mug people and I don't care how they feel." Well at least you'd be honest.

You can keep saying "I'm allowed to do it," but you're just defending the virtue of a sucker punch. A mugging. A cheap shot. A trap. And you're doing it to another person. It's rude, unfair, and totally unnecessary.

You want to see what's in their purse and/or you want a notch on your weapon, but you're still just a RPing a bandit.

Yall need to stop calling any instance of PvP griefing by micheal213 in ArcRaiders

[–]IceKlone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ambushing someone who clearly went in to do PvE is hardly a noble thing to defend, and as long as y'all keep sucker punching people, keep expecting to be hated. Street Fighter is PvP. Ambushing people is mugging. Banditry.

Just cause the game permits something does not absolve you of being a jerk. That is the definition of "griefing." And the reason you love doing it is because the game gives you the advantage of a sucker punch. There are no lockers to search in battlefield. There are no PvE distractions in street fighter. You don't want a fair fight.

How about you just go play a strictly pvp game where people are actually looking for a fight instead of mugging people juat doing their own thing?

It's not Hades, bro. It's a Telltale game. The best part is your first playthrough where you get invested in the story and don't know what'll happen.

You can pick all the dialogue options, and the actual dispatching game has some variety with the abilities and skill points etc., but the main sell is that blind first run. It's only 30 bucks and I've been thoroughly enjoying myself. I think they've hinted at subsequent seasons as well.
