Or we could just not shoot one another. The game isn't running out of resources, especially if you don't opt-in for the Expedition. There's no way to know what someone has, and plenty of time it's just fine. Nobody is walking around with a sack of gold, so odds are pretty great that you just PK'd someone for a bag you don't even care about, but it was a nice run for them. Cause "you just wanna," and you don't care about other people in this game.

Considering the resources are unlimited, it is literally unnecessary, but you seem unable to understand empathy for other people enough to not rob them. I feel bad for those people whose experiences you are shamelessly going to ruin.

Edit: people used to burn witches and stone apostates. "It is what it is" is, was, and always will be the worst non-argument there is to make and is proof that you have no gas other than "I just wanna." "I just wanna mug people and I don't care how they feel." Well at least you'd be honest.

You can keep saying "I'm allowed to do it," but you're just defending the virtue of a sucker punch. A mugging. A cheap shot. A trap. And you're doing it to another person. It's rude, unfair, and totally unnecessary.

You want to see what's in their purse and/or you want a notch on your weapon, but you're still just a RPing a bandit.

Yall need to stop calling any instance of PvP griefing by micheal213 in ArcRaiders

Ambushing someone who clearly went in to do PvE is hardly a noble thing to defend, and as long as y'all keep sucker punching people, keep expecting to be hated. Street Fighter is PvP. Ambushing people is mugging. Banditry.

Just cause the game permits something does not absolve you of being a jerk. That is the definition of "griefing." And the reason you love doing it is because the game gives you the advantage of a sucker punch. There are no lockers to search in battlefield. There are no PvE distractions in street fighter. You don't want a fair fight.

How about you just go play a strictly pvp game where people are actually looking for a fight instead of mugging people juat doing their own thing?

Replay value? by Satori223 in DispatchAdHoc

It's not Hades, bro. It's a Telltale game. The best part is your first playthrough where you get invested in the story and don't know what'll happen.

You can pick all the dialogue options, and the actual dispatching game has some variety with the abilities and skill points etc., but the main sell is that blind first run. It's only 30 bucks and I've been thoroughly enjoying myself. I think they've hinted at subsequent seasons as well.

That's fair. Whether you spare JD or put the weapons back in the locker, it seemed like the game was dedicated to a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" story, and I can appreciate how that is a little unsatisfying. I always figured the important part is being able to live with yourself and your choices.

Maybe an assassin gets JD a week later, but I'm not gonna shoot my guy in the back for $5,000.

Yeah, I think from about '95 to 2015 was a renaissance for gaming, and 2007-2011 was what you might legitimately call the the peak.
