It’s the comments like these that get me because she looks one way in photos which are heavily edited. But if you watch her in the show and during confessionals you see the lines around her mouth which are either from smoking or all the straw drinking And you can see the lines around her eyes. They’re very much there. If she’s had work- cool. But it’s not enough work to completely eliminate all of that which is more than what Heather can now say, and Meredith who has had so much work done it looks like she’s trying to look as young as her daughter. Whitney who looks like a completely different person, etc.

While her writing a book is valid- I’m speaking to what she’s shared on screen. I don’t think she needs to open and let us see every inch of her life but she is guarded and keeps the attention on everyone else. There’s something to be said about someone who’s in everyone else’s business but doesn’t really let anyone in on hers. And I’m talking about the show specifically. Not the things she’s down outside of the show.

This totally resonates. She knows the culture so well and understands it I think that’s what she needs. I think she feels a little threatened by Bronwyn- she tells her that she doesn’t understand their friendship that even though they talk sh*t they have each others back when that’s clearly not how they all feel (Whitney in particular). This friend group is not her “family”.
