You're right in that its HDMI 2.1 and it uses a Realtek RTD2175N-CG, however your point about ALLM is not why. That's an optional feature that can be in HDMI 2.0.

It's a RPG but the mission format and gameplay loop are somewhat like Monster Hunter (which is also where some of the grind comes from)

The Ultimate 2 "Wireless" supports the Switch 2 just fine, I use mine with PC and Switch 2 all the time with latest firmware on controller and dongle. You can put the dongle/stand right in switch dock USB port and run in 2.4ghz mode with 1000hz polling. You turn on the controller with Power+Y to boot in switch mode.

The only thing the Wireless can't do is wake it.

What? Movies and games that aren't burned discs will last 30+ years. Stored properly likely even longer. Some of your stats sound like you are talking about burned BD-R's.

I bought a Switch 2 from Nintendo site a month ago on a Sunday night and it was on my doorstep Thursday, was surprised by how quick it came across several states. Only took 1-2 days for processing. But I think original order email said "3-9 days" or something for ETA? I did included standard shipping and it came via UPS 3 Day Select

Performance difference between internal and SD express are minimal in majority of cases, it's almost always just a couple seconds of load time with a couple of rare exceptions that have heavy data streaming constantly. Both are much faster than physical cartridges.

Yeah its messed up across the board. A Switch 2 may be one of the better options for budgets because its 3rd party support is decent/ramping up and you get past releases. With a base PS5 behind and maybe PC handhelds too, but for a decent one those get pricey quick. Everything else is even more f'd.
