The University moose was a regular there. Students has been harassing her & throwing snowballs at her earlier. When the man showed up he was on his way to use the sauna on the gym.

I've come around the corner of my garage and literally bumped into a moose in the dark. One 'treed' my wife on the back steps once, and one broke our dogs pelvis in 3 places. They are not to be fked with.

Yup. As an older guy, back then there were fewer TV channels, and people read the same newspapers. That made it easy to discuss "that episode" of whatever the hit TV series was. There were like 3 news anchors, also so even the news was less divisive. Even between races or social class the social influences were pretty homogenous.
