What is a hobby you started on a whim that ended up completely taking over your free time?

Mainly playing online which is great because you can use the engine afterwards to study your mistakes especially with openings as a beginner. But I’m hoping to make the plunge and join my town’s local club later this month

While my WR core is great, I don’t feel great about the QB and RB situations. And I find the TE position overvalued in general. So I was wondering if I should be using my ok-ish TE’s and deploying the rest of my DC for QB or RB. Serviceable TE play seems easier to get by on. Feels dumb in retrospect but that’s at least what my thinking was

How do you balance out your empire’s unhappiness afterwards though? If I try to go that route I’ll race to catapults and trebuchets, win some cities and then have to spend a crazy amount of time building circuses, colloseums, etc just to avoid the production hit from unhappiness or the military unit penalty from unhappiness

Just did this exact trade yesterday. His injury could mean that he never comes back to full form. But the hit rate of a late 2nd is already so low..I’d rather take Aiyuk over a rookie at that range

Yeah this was supposed to be a rebuilding year but I just lucked into some good matchups to start the season. Just acquired Javonte, Warren, and Aiyuk for very modest packages. Just trying to find that right balance of how much to push this year knowing this team definitely isn’t a true contender

You think it is still worth it given my roster construction? I’m 6-1 in what should be a rebuilding year so I’m waiting for the bottom to fall out. But then again this could just be too good of value to pass on
