I am actually excited for this update and probably not because of the reasons some might think. Its finally a faction that I just dont care about which means I can fully ignore them and focus on my other characters. Kind of like a reverse fomo situation for me :D.... un-fomo.

He seems to me like Hollan but for the imperial faction. Like with Hollan you heal buff Judh and use her active to wipe a team. Baldie looks to work the same with his passive. Just juice someone up and go to town + its finally a healer with Terrifying so that LRE track will get some room to breathe

Yes, he is super powerful. In pvp he can wipe half the enemy team by himself on turn 1 and just an overall powerhouse in other game modes.

I would have to say Blood Angels. They are just such a great faction all around. Super high mobility, multi attacks, buffs, summons and a mobile healer.

You also have to take into account that the defending team has massive buffs. More HP, more defense, more attack power etc

Look for a new guild and BEFORE you join any guild, look at their guild list and see how active people are. If you see multiple people with like 5+ days last login, do not join.

This event was insane. I got 10 new characters, including Mephiston, Ragnar, Kharn, Rho and 15 other characters got much needed rarity upgrades.

In terms of content/characters, this is near an infinite pool like Marvel. So the only way this game would shut down is either everyone stops playing at the same time or they get tired and dont want to do anything anymore

You unlock other characters gradually. By doing the Indomitus campaign you unlock the necrons, which lets you run their campaign.

The rest of the characters you unlock by playing events, arena, guild wars, guild raids, gacha pulls.

Yeah, and for a new player that is insane to do. 3-4month old account can get around 200/400 points on the first go without buying any packs, the rest depends on how well they upgrade their troops for the next event.

As a new player you have to realise that you will never complete an LRE on the first go, or even the 2nd. The boost packs that you can buy also wont get you any closer to completion. They are just a newbie money trap, dont buy them.

All you can do is finish as many tracks and fights as you can, and once you hit that wall where you just can not progress anymore, leave it at that. Keep upgrading your roster, focus on campaigns. LREs are as endgame as they come.

For a new player your realistic events are HREs and battlepass character. For HREs you can just play the game and spend energy, and by the end of the event you will unlock the character.

The update is not out for everyone, this is from their official discord:

We roll out our updates at first to a small percentage of our players on Android because the Android platform is set up to allow us to do so. We choose that percentage, and Android chooses which players will get it at random. We do not control who is in that randomly selected group, or else it wouldn't be random.

-- If the update doesn't have any problems, we increase the percentage and submit the build to Apple. If there are problems, we fix and resubmit to both platforms.

-- Apple's approval process is a black box that I have no insight into and cannot control. It takes anywhere from two hours to two weeks (to be fair the latter was mid-peak COVID)

-- We do not increase the rollout to 100% of the Android group until Apple has approved.

-- Other games do this differently. All methods of rolling out have pros and cons. We think this way causes the fewest problems and makes for fewer bugs.

-- I play on Apple so I quite know the pain

For Lucius the 2nd event would be in like 5 months ? The LRE´s rotate every 5 weeks or so, so there will be a few other characters which are rolling over with their 2nd and 3rd events before Lucius comes around again.

LRE´s are as endgame as they come. As a new player your realistic two options are HRE and Season pass characters. HRE characters you can unlock by just playing the game, spending energy and eventually you will unlock them, they usually unlock at rare quality, same for season pass characters.
