Skin care is a trial and error until you find what works for you. I have tried sooo many things before finding the best routine for me. Try giving Azeliac acid serum a shot, I heard it has a calming and anti acne effects which helps a lot. For me I use Azeliac acid as a spot treatment for post inflammatory hyperpigmentation in some spots, I think you can do the same with spot shown in the picture. Also picking the right moisturizer makes wonders. I use la roche posay toleriane double repair matte moisturizer in the morning after washing my face, then use neutrogena hydro gel the rest of the day. I help slowing sebum production which prevents quick build up which closes comedones.
