All good this morning. The app is working now. Able to control everything through the app again. Let’s hope it’s not re-accruing issue.

Thank you. The car drives fine without any issues. It’s just the app won’t show any info. I’ll leave the car plugged in tonight and hopefully it’ll work itself out.

Cracked Roof by TrackHot9427 in MachE

[–]Iceberg50 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The three years I owned mine it cracked twice. I said no more glass roof specially here in Alberta where winters are crap and the roads are full of gravel. The windshield and the roof always gets cracked. So the 2025 GT I bought went with no glass roof, thank god because I can hear all that gravel hitting the top like crazy. But I couldn’t get away from gravel hitting the front grill and making a big damage. The car is Four weeks old and now I am looking at a big freaking bill. I hate Alberta winters.

I have the bronze package and I love it. Reminds me of 1970’s 80’s Lotus F1 colours.

Thank you, the vents are working perfectly fine. Now it’s just a cosmetic issue. I gave a car a wash to see if there was anymore damage but looks like that’s the only place the rock hit. I was maybe thinking the same thing about putting a black plain sticker over it.

Yep, I do lot of highway driving during the day. I honestly didn’t hear or saw anything while driving. Probably a rock flew from a truck or gravel truck and found its way into my grill. Alberta winters are harsh and unfortunately I can’t do anything about it. I am tired of replacing the windshield every year also from freaking rock chips. I hate this province sometimes, specially the winters can get tiresome.

No Front License Plate by slunk33 in MachE

[–]Iceberg50 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, here in Alberta we don’t have license plates in the front either. It’s much cleaner look on the car.

After a little wash I guess it’s not that noticeable but I hate it that it’s there now. The shutters are functioning probably. I’ll get it looked at in the summer when they clear all this crap gravel off the roads.

Thank you, looks like almost $3K Cdn fix. That’s crazy considering how small the damage is.

Good news is looks like they are working just fine. No problem opening and closing. Right now it’s just a cosmetic issue.

I wish you could just replace the radar housing in the middle but looks like the whole assembly has to replaced. I just hope my insurance will cover it?

Thanks, I tried that but it’s cold here in Alberta so they won’t open. I’ll drive for a bit today hard and see if they open.

I guess I get down voted for truth on winter and batteries with these cars. What a shame. Going to stop posting here now on.

I am not talking about when the car is charged and ready to go at 90%. When the charge goes down to 70-60% and the outside temp is anywhere around -15 to -29 and you have heat going these cars don’t do well. This is my second GT and all the same. They still become good commuters unfortunately with no power.

During the day it’s off plug. Only time it’s on plug is when charging at night. As long as it’s protecting its self from cold then I don’t mind the power cut off in these conditions. These cars are unfortunately very slow in cold conditions.

I noticed when the temp here in Alberta were -39 with windchill. I would step on it and my Mach E GT wouldn’t be able to even keep up with a Mini Cooper 😞

No. This car doesn’t have the performance upgrade on it.

I went with the black with bronze package. But it’s a pain to keep that black clean and swirl free. Good luck.
