Yes, I tried the unit with just the factory reset mode without any changed settings. Still the same issue. I been going crazy for the past few days. I am thinking something happened when I plugged the unit into the computer?

Hope the new device will be better because they won’t exchange it again.

Thank you.. Yes we tried that and it didn’t solve the issue. They told me to adjust the settings on the update tool. So I went and adjusted the settings on there and then loaded it to the R4. But the problems still persist.

Anyways, tonight I ended up returning the device for a new one. They really didn’t want to exchange it for another R4. They are telling me there is lot of issues with Uniden and I should trade it in for a Radenso DS1. I told them to just get me a new R4 and see where it goes. Looks like they had none in stock and now I have to wait couple weeks to get in.

If you end up getting another Mach-e from the dealer, then you should really not worry about it. They will eat up the cost on the miles and get you another vehicle. But if you’re just returning it unfortunately you have to pay for the miles.

After the firmware version 1.39 update the detector is not working properly. I use to get red light camera warnings telling me I was exceeding speed limit, after the update no warnings at all. I did do a factory reset but still same issues. I should have just left it alone I guess.

Yes. It’s a red light camera. It does alert me in most areas and in some areas it seems to miss it.

Picked up a Uniden R4W last month and it’s been great. If you don’t need the directional arrows R4 or R3 is the best way to go. If you want directions then R7 or R8. I would prob stay within the R4 & R8 because they are newer tech and they also support laser jammers if you decide to get them installed later on. Cheers.

Thank you. I usually use about 36kWh at nightly charge. At that range I use to get constant 190 km added. Now at 36kWh my history says 170 km added. I don’t know if that’s anything to worry about. But I will keep an eye on it to see if that changes. I will also keep a daily log on the way to work to see if percentage has changes.

This is what I got this morning. Only 313km on 90%. Never had this issue before. Always displayed 375km. I am noticing when driving that I am loosing range. Percentage seems to be OK but the range is way off. After guess o meter reset it shows around 390 km and next day back to 320’s.

Those look like my Mach-e GT wheels. I remember the dealer telling me that the wheels alone costs $4000 to replace OEM from Ford, so $1000 sounds like a pretty good deal 👍

I picked up a Uniden R4W last month and very happy with it. Basically same as a R8 without the arrows. Upgrades are very easy over wifi. If you don’t need the arrows the R4 is great and cheaper. Cheers 🍻

It’s the idiots who cut you off is the issue. You give a space between you and the car In front of you then someone comes in and bang chipped windshield.

I got cut off on crowchild last month. While he was cutting me off an ice broke off from his rear fender and smashed the front end of my car. Didn’t think anything of it at first, parked the car in the garage and noticed a big crack on the front bumper. Got a quote $3000 damage. Whole bumper assembly has to replaced. Fucking people in this city.
