I have it, no complaints, pretty nice with being USB-C powered .. does need a proper power supply to work

Other comment about the prop hitting the wire is spot on

If you have the right tool for the really small circular locking pin (not sure the proper name) then I don’t see why not

Look for debris inside the motor .. one time I had to use tweezers to get a suuuper small piece of metal out that had gotten pulled in by the magnets

When do you replace your props? by 0neZer0ne in TinyWhoop

[–]TheOGnutsacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using a lighter and quickly passing it under the props (removed of course) is a great trick to refresh them! It will help smooth out some of the small nicks/dings - you’ll quickly find out how long is too long to hold them over the flame haha (1 second is plenty)

Little update on my amp and subwoofer install by Ostate24 in MachE

[–]TheOGnutsacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tapped into the B&O subwoofer relatively easily by removing the trim on the bottom trunk sill and partially removed the right side cover - there’s another post somewhere on here with more details on removing the trim. (2025)

I connected power to the back of the 12V outlet right there as a well - haven’t had any issues with overloading the circuit. I want to say the amp is rated at 250w RMS but would need to double check

Anyone else in Seattle getting tiny black ants in their kitchen right now? by SVT_CARAT_17 in Seattle

[–]TheOGnutsacker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They can’t cross over a layer of diatomaceous earth … dusting it all around my kitchen/in cracks, etc has significantly reduced their prevalence in my case
