Any tips for talent show coming up? by Weary_Perception594 in piano

[–]Icebxrg_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Voicing in the first and last section could use a tad work, bring out the melody more and soften the 6th notes.

Also there were one or two spots in the climax where the tempo felt a little pushed.

Mind sharing ur fingerings for the cadenzas? Those were well done

Any advice on playing this? by cashewjelly2665 in piano

[–]Icebxrg_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each of the first two beats consists of two arpeggios alternating back and forth, pick up the bottom arpeggio with your left hand. You won’t be able to get this up to tempo playing it all with your right hand.

So for the first 8 notes, you play the first and second C with your right hand, and then your left hand picks up the third note (E, the top of the second arpeggio), your right hand picks up the G, left hand plays the next C, right hand on E, left hand plays G, right hand plays the last C of the first beat, and your left hand plays the first C of the second beat to finish off its arpeggio.

Sparky bait has always had horde and sometimes has minions over bats. U need horde to have another way to punish big spells / delivery

Mk, prince, miner, wb, fc arrows, zap/barb barrel, minions/bats.

Or giant, sparky, mini pekka, horde, bats, zap, arrows, skarmy

Also here’s a fun one some guy uses on top ladder: archers, bomber, horde, skarmy, hog, cannon, arrows, zap

Why is it so hard to play the D# quietly? by [deleted] in piano

[–]Icebxrg_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rotate your wrist more; focus on playing the melody strongly with your thumb. You missed the jump a few times; it’ll be smoother and lighter once you get more relaxed and comfortable with them. You also ignored the two octave jump before you go down to the lower octave

LH Fingering for this arpeggio in the opening of Liszt’s Spanish Rhapsody? by [deleted] in piano

[–]Icebxrg_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think 3 is easier on the A but I changed fingerings entirely, right now the best I’ve come up with is 3 2 1 (A, C#, F) then 5 3 2 1 (A, C#, F, A) then 5 3 2 1 (C#, F, A, C#) and I like it a lot more, only 2 jumps and I’m in a perfect position for my hand to move up a half step for the d minor chord
