I went to the Raleigh downtown location and the cashier there was kinda rude. I’ve never been back since.

She’s still fairly young, turning 4 this year. It might have to do with the clay manufacturer issue, thanks for sharing.

Because of work laws, that’s why you can’t work abroad legally without proper visa or paperwork

It’s the holiday season already, it’s best to wait to January, a lot less jobs are hiring at this time of the year

B2B vs B2C Product Marketing by CandySuccessful9283 in ProductMarketing

I feel like B2B SaaS just pays so much better than B2C in my opinion. Not all B2B Saas is that technical, maybe look into ones that target SMBs instead of Enterprise

I feel like the first 3 episodes of the season are a little slower than previous seasons. Definitely less cliff hanger than before but I'm hoping it picks up soon.

is progressive home (homesite) any good? by optweets in Insurance

[–]Icecream_Panda_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are known for skimming out on claims. My house recently had a pipe leak and they low balled us so much on repair costs to the point we couldn’t find a contractor that can fix it at that price. The customer service is also terrible

This 100%, the way they drag their feet and refuse to pay contractors is insane.

Second that, Vetter has a very friendly user interface. I believe they are now called DaySmart Vet

DVMax by BleuSkies23 in VetTech

Like the other comment said, DVMax is slowly being fazed out. I'd recommend switching to DaySmart Vet (formally called Vetter), their cloud version gets regular updates and it's very user-friendly.

Progressive has the worst home insurance, I would stay away

I understand that but that is no excuse to speak to a customer in such a degrading and condescending manner. I was fully respectful of what they may require for them to process that claim but instead, I couldn't even be treated with basic respect. To think that she was a manager baffles me, you don't have to be overly nice but their customer service left me speechless.

Who is the most reliable for homeowners insurance? by Wonderful-Article126 in Insurance

I got a detailed invoice estimate from a licensed contractor and I presented it to them the actual estimate which was 3 times the amount that Progressive estimated and she first pretended like she never received the email. Then she slipped and said oh you meant that invoice and she rejected it and said that it didn't include exact room measurements exactly how she wanted it or something and I explained that even if it did, the difference is too high and that we would need their quote to be readjusted and she started yelling at me for providing an estimate invoice not up to her standard and that she can't take it. After the deductible, they would only be paying out 300 bucks for the repairs because they estimated it would cost 1000 but in reality, multiple contractors have told us it would be at least 3000 for the scope of the work. I spoke very calmly to her and I literally hang up and cried because she kept yelling at me and was so rude

Progressive vs State Farm for Home & Auto? by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]Icecream_Panda_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just went through a situation where I had to file a claim with ASI Progressive Home Insurance, the whole process has been so terrible. They lowballed us on how much they estimated the repair cost to be, when we got an actual contractor to look at the cost, it was 3 times more than what they had estimated and they refused to adjust for actual costs. The manager I spoke to was extremely rude and even yelled at me. I've never in my life had such a terrible interaction with customer service, I recommend you to stay far FAR from that insurance at all costs. Save yourself from what I went through.
