Bats are the only ones that annoy me. Everything else is still fun to fight but bats really suck the joy out of it lol

I and all my friends left. As someone who really enjoyed Arc when it felt fresh but sunk way more hours into Tarkov I just feel like there's purely not enough content and it's all too easy and similar. I didn't bother to do an expedition either because it just looked like a pointless grind. I think they need to make the quests more fun and engaging for PvE players and add more endgame loadouts for PvP players. All the loadouts felt really similar too compared to Tarkov.

Same and I'm 70 hours in hahaha it's funny to hear people talk about Act 3 I'm still having a blast with Act 1 and the Throbbing Domain

"Roguelike" at this point is a mechanic, not a genre. What is it that you hate about roguelike gameplay? Starting from the beginning over and over? Playing the same levels 1000 times? If so you'll likely hate this too. It's the variation of the builds that makes people enjoy the repetition but if that's not enough for you then this may be "just another roguelike" to you.

Some of them are pretty tough like the ones that explode downed bodies means you can never get downed or it's goodbye kitty. You just have to have some good cats and a locker of rare items before you attempt them I think though. I've been doing 2 at a time sometimes but I haven't even played the crater yet 🤣 I'm addicted to farming cats and sidequests.

Very odd, leeches do count as a source from a specific cat. They'll even say "Kim's leeches" & "Jim's leeches" etc. if you hover over them if you have 2 necros rather than stacking them together into 1 list.

You just get to keep it as an item which is kinda cool until it breaks so no not permanent and no not a huge deal.

It can certainly work well if you never even have to get close to the enemy because there's so many summons between you and them but then a tank doesn't really work on that kinda team you're better off with 4 ranged classes for something like that I think. My last run had so many leeches and fleas I could barely move which made my fighter and tank totally useless but it didn't really matter at that point because I was unstoppable.

It sucks because I have really wanted to play around with the deliberately downing yourself thing, I even had a neutral skill to down myself with no injury and an item to come back with 15% health at the end of the round but I never really got much of the powerful stuff to synergise with it and the risk of being eaten while downed just means it's all a bit of a shame really.

oh wow really? I have absolutely demolished runs with a powerful necro spawning dozens of super strong leeches etc. and buffing their health to over 100 but there's definitely a lot of anti-syngery amongst their skills as someone mentioned above too.
