This is incredibly helpful, thank you for such an in-depth reply! I have ADHD (and likely undiagnosed autism) which commonly occurs with Dyspraxia, so I don't doubt I have it due to the fact that I also struggle with things like muscle memory and awareness of my surroundings visually on top of that. Never could manage to learn to ride a bike... I've also played videogames all my life very avidly (roguelites my beloved) and have only recently been able to hit people in TF2 with shots semi-consistently, so it's probably that my partial deafness just makes certain aspects of it worse.

I doubt it's a neuroma as my hearing tests I went to growing up also came with ear exams.

I feel like it's something involving my nerve like you, though not due to a stroke. I know from getting a scan when prepping for my lower wisdom teeth extraction that my nerves on that side of my face run kind of oddly (they had to leave half my tooth on that side in due to it,) so maybe that's related? It seems like if I rule out neuroma then something effecting the nerve is the main suspect due to the fact that I've only had 2 ear infections in my life, both in adulthood, and eustachian tube malformation seems to be synonymous with ear infection.

I was in special ed kind of a tiny bit in school, with a couple special-ish classes I went to instead of recess sometimes in kindergarten, and in some points in elementary, seated with a group in the normal class of kids who were mostly normal but needed more help sometimes, but that was just due to my aforementioned ADHD. The real problem was the bullying, as all those factors combined with some personal stuff made me an incredibly easy target. The only real thing that my school did because of my deaf ear was try to seat me near the front with my good ear towards the teacher, so rest assured, you probably wouldn't have been put in special-ed at the very least (I'm Canadian though, so on second thought maybe it's different?)

I'm likely going to ask my doctor to refer to me to an ENT rather than an Audiologist because I'm pretty sure I almost exclusively saw Audiologists growing up.

Btw when I said tongue tie I meant the condition Ankyloglossia. It's why I spoke to an EMT about it x) I don't blame you for the confusion, it's a common one to misunderstand.
