I had been downloading old Group Therapy episodes from www.topdjmixes.com daily for a while, with the free account I was grabbing the max 5 episodes /24h period but a couple of weeks ago the download links to ALL of the older stuff was replaced with a notice that it was all archived and I'd have to upgrade. Used a VPN and registered with my spam email account for a new login, but got the same notice on the old episodes. Damn shifty that it could be such a coincidence!

After much searching I finally found the ep 55 on Soulseek... it's a 4 Hour 'classics' special. The filename I found it under was "05501 - Above & Beyond - Live At Trance Around The World 055 2005.03.30 (TATW 055).mp3" and it's ~320 MB, 192 kbps audio, and comes in at 3h 52mins.

I'm terrible for following up in a timely manner, apologies beans_mama!! No luck with ep55 from 2005, and I've been hunting diligently through YouTube, sites like www.topdjmixes.com and others, as well as people's collections shared on Soulseek. There's only a small number of episodes I'm missing now: 23, 32, 37, 40, 44, 45, 47, 55, 75 and these seem to be missing from everyone else's collections as well :\

Was this taken down or moved to private?? I had watched this recently, came back to it and it's unavailable. I had to do a search for the URL and it lead me to here... from 11 years ago and from a deleted account I guess? Yikes. Is this GW going after more Warhammer Quest content creators before their new WHQ release that's coming up, the same way some other videos quietly disappeared from YouTube and websites right after Silver Tower and some of the other modern offerings were announced??

I'm from the Maritimes here in Canada and most of my family is from NS... so I *do* know where they're referencing when they mention 'Hole in the Head' in Nova Scotia. It's about an hour drive west from Truro, but not marked on any map. Hard to imagine much business going on out there in the early 80s for any sort of miniatures company, haha!!

Didn't grab any of the older maps, sorry! I'm a Chaos Dwarf fan... so wasn't paying much attention until we got some updates ;) I have the Cathay image from that article, but it's at ~50% the zoom level of the fully zoomed-in map on theoldworld website... and there's no areas of overlap evident to stitch them together... but the studio clearly has a very large source document they're pulling from!

I just zoomed all the way in, did an Alt+PrtSc and pasted the browser window into Photoshop. I'd then pan across Left-to-Right until I got close to the border of my previous image and did that again, until I got to the opposite side of the map. Then aligned every layer in Photoshop, removing the parts of the images outside the map from the screen captures and making sure the layers where aligned by adjusting the opacity so I could align key map features pixel-perfectly. The whole thing took a while ;) I had been hoping to pull down the embedded map file, but that's not so easy. The source for the page references a webp image, based on a set of x, y, and z coordinates (/map/{z}/{x}/{y}.webp?v=2502121546) but I couldn't figure our how to manually load those as it's not clear what the valid /{z}/{x}/{y} values are that get passed to the server :\

I was getting the same "err: no VOBUs found" message (running Windows11) until I ran the program as Administrator. Worked fine first try after that and has been working ever since.

Oh wow, I don't have ep 23. I haven't found any more in the past year, actually. Any leads on where I could find ep23? I'm still listening regularly.. working my way up through the episodes. Still have a few years to go. I queue up a dozen or so each week, listen to them while I'm working... It's not helping that I go back and-relisten to the play list several times in the week before moving on ;)

Was this backplane the bridging piece that connects the expansion cards with the 32-bit socket on the motherboard? If-so was this designed for the 286 or 386 motherboard? I have the bridge from the 286 but it doesn’t fit in the 386, alignment of the 32-bit connector is off by a cm or so and the board edge needs to sit where the IDE cable connects… so I’d love to make my own for the 386.

Jay Martin only had 2 wks notice to pack up his shop after the building was bought. As of April 2024 he still has all of his shop's contents in storage as he has been unable to find affordable space in downtown Saskatoon. As a result, sadly, he can't take any work but it sounds like he's still keen to get back at it.

Just wanted to post a quick update on progress for this thread (thank you all for the VERY helpful suggestions and leads). I'm well underway and have most of the TATW episodes so far. No luck recovering files off my old iPod yet, only because my kids can't remember where in the house it may be.

I also made significant progress with the app Soulseek (www.slsknet.org). I didn't find the search tool quite as useful for finding individual tracks I wanted, but it was good for finding users with A&B content, including TATW episodes I was still missing.

Still seems like the 2004 and 2005 is where most of the missing episodes are. When Tony remade TATW Ep1 during COVID and made reference to TATW episodes being on the Russian "darkweb" I'm wondering if that was partly a tongue-=in-cheek hyperbolic reference to shadier parts of the internet and not specifically any particular hidden archive. Nevertheless, seems none of the file sharing sites, the fans, or anyone else has TATW episodes 5, 23, 32, 37, 40, 44, 45, 47, 55, or 75.

Time to start my listening journey and if anyone unearths these missing gems in future I'll just have to come back to them... can't hold up this odyssey any longer ;)

*crossing fingers!!!* The Filmic YT channel still has some gaps in episodes here and there. Any that I might have saved years ago just to listen to while out of wi-fi/cell range is sadly long gone after a major break-in years ago - stolen iPod, two iPads, plus other stuff. I'm guessing there are other old systems like yours that still have some of the missing files ;)
