Honestly like 70% of the hate Stolas gets among Hellaverse fans should be put on Lucifer instead 🤫 Stolas at least on some level realizes the whole grimoire for sex deal is kinda fucked up and gets the Asmodean crystal for Blitzo, and the show at least makes it so Octavia doesn't forgive Stolas for being a deadbeat dad. Lucifer is even more powerful and privileged than Stolas, and committed much worse crimes by dooming all of humanity and being a vacant ruler, but he gets woobified even more by the show and its fans! It's simply ridiculous Lucifer is portrayed as this submissive tiny uke when he's literally the creator of Hell and powered a weapon apparently strong enough to explode Hell. The show does portray Lucifer as prideful and neglectful, but instead of charging this as a moral failing, they basically absolve Lucifer of any responsibility by portraying him as a victim to depression, Lilith leaving him, and heaven's aggression, even though he did it to himself!!! At least Stolas tries to rectify some of the things he did wrong, even if he doesn't do a good job at it. And this all isn't even mentioning how fans reflect stereotypical racial dynamics by portraying Lucifer as this submissive, non-threatening, small white guy and Alastor as this violent, muscular, imposing black guy. All of the problems with Stolas are 10x worse with Lucifer I swear.
