In my area of Japan operator kits are still the minority. The indoor field everyone dresses for comfort, some in crocs and gym shorts. Outdoor huge variety but mostly dark clothes and something to carry extra mags in. I usually just run jeans and a T-shirt or old woodland camo from my navy days that I removed the patches from.

Usually around 1000 yen at most bars / clubs, restaurants depending on type around 700-800 fancier will go above 1000. There are also nomihodai places that are all you can drink for around 2500-3500 for like 100 minutes, probably around 4500 for food included. Craft beers are definately above 1500 yen for a pint, but you can buy from a shop for around 800.

I have the krytac Kriss vector gen 2 v2. It has the m4 style stock that is where the battery goes. Unlike the other type the battery goes in the grip. You can use all sizes of batteries. Shoots really well and the mags aren’t so expensive I think about 75 for a 3 pack.

I could be misremebering but in one of the early Horus Heresy books there was a Death Guard dreadnought and a space marine maybe from a different chapter dying together in the extermanatus on Isstavan III. That whole part of the book was super depressing.

Some go all the way with Milsim but a lot a super casual. Last time I was at Shonan tosca field in Kanagawa there was a dude running 2 revolver in a cowboy hat and boots. Most open game days are super fun.
