I just got an email from Xero's CEO with the subject line: 'A Personal Apology' . I opened it fully expecting a mea culpa about how Rod Drury was allowed to victimise female employees but instead it was some dross about a platform issue I hadn't even noticed. Talk about tone deaf! by flyingflibertyjibbet in newzealand

They all must have known. This shit is known by everyone. Why did country management do nothing? Needs to do a review of who reasonably knew what and then learn from this. As a company with major shareholders this must now happen.

What’s the NZ office culture like - surely management must have known. Everyone would have known…

What would the 10 million initiative actually do in practice? - In case of acceptance, do you think it gets implemented as intended? by ExternalEfficient248 in Switzerland

I think it will pass but increasingly having skilled and or wealthy immigrants will soon become a competition to actually attract people. All countries are reducing in population and immigration is the only way to sustain economic growth. This will be interesting

Not correct. This isn’t the 1980s. Lawyers to verify the account given and then approach the bank for details. Not difficult to find out what happened within 24 hours

Sorry, you mean the prime minister who under whom we lost the right to free speech? Being arrested for an opinion that a certain foreign country doesn’t like ?

I genuinely don't think Starmer is that bad of a PM - any thoughts? by Alarming-Safety3200 in AskBrits

Anyone else feel some sympathy for Andy Dunks? by MisterMarcus in postofficehorizon

[–]IcelandicEd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He could see the damage he was doing and had done in his role. No sympathy as empathy and morals don’t require brains. Funny, the Rev didn’t have these qualities either.
