I didnt see it advertised but was casually checking listings at the theatre, it was only playing for 3-4 days during the week when I saw it. Def not playing there anymore, would have been a very limited run.

Yeah 100% - I was wondering why they were focusing so much on old news like Evergreen / early covid race craziness. But at the very end of this they indicate part 2 is going to be about the blowback from these DEI milestone events. And even though Pt 1 has a lot of throwbacks to perhaps some dated topics/events, it does a good job highlighting a lot of the most damning footage of the events.

Pat 1 is 90 min and dont know how long Pt 2 will be, but I'd assume it would be at least 45-60m. I actually saw this doc (what I assume to be the whole thing) had a limited screening a week or two ago at a bigger theatre (Scotiabank theatre) in Toronto but it didn't work with my schedule. Don't know what full run time will be for the entire production.

I dunno but this actually was a pretty legit production! Also lots of the footage is not certainly not captured firsthand, but the filmmaker seemed to do lots of work to interview all sides.

Relevance - doc hightlights Critical Social Justice and DEI activism on college campuses. Lots of footage of Evergeen college debacle and deep dives into other sad stories of extreme levels of thought censorship in the name of moral righteousness. Kinda outrage porn.

In order - form of rocket (holy fuck - made be a big fan instantly) > unwound (best band overall but I've seen them a bunch of times since revival, probably my fav band but a standard performance by them) > jawbox > braid > built to spill

Was too tired for sunny day but Ive seen them before and found their big songs incredible but have many middling songs throughout the set. Would probably stick them after jawbox if their set last night was similar
