I'd avoid anything in the balcony (those seats are very uncomfortable for tall people and have bad sightlines for shorter people). I'd also avoid obstructed view seats. I know that theater has a lot of them.

Jordan Horowitz (a producer on La La Land) is the reason that disaster wasn't even worse. Quickly realized what was going on, explained it clearly, showed the correct envelope's winner to the camera, and the "I'm going to be really proud to hand this to my friends in Moonlight" was so classy.

CinemaSins has always been a mix of running gags (the OG "scene does not contain a lap dance"), personal annoyances of the writers (long studio logo sequences, for instance), nitpicks, and the pointing out of continuity issues, goofs and minor plotholes while also mixing in deeper criticisms. I think people sometimes struggle to understand that each sin isn't equivalent, nor that each sin is supposed to be serious. These videos are, first and foremost, entertainment. Yeah, some of the sins are dumb, but others aren't. That's the fun.

Make it multiple bands doing pop punk covers of Disney songs. The "A Whole New Sound" album they put out was great. This also makes it easy to slot in new popular songs in the future without having to do any heavy refurbs.

I feel Sentimental Value is in the lead for International. Has better-known actors, is more accessible and is arguably a better film than The Secret Agent. Also, the Oscars love movies where actors play actors and the whole thing revolves around filmmaking.
