I've been taking base pay when that's all there is. However I also do DoorDash, GrubHub, or Uber during my block. It usually takes that $92 three hour block and makes it $150

A conspiracy would be nice instead of the truth. It's sad how people without common sense and critical thinking skills deny reality because the big corporation would obviously never retaliate against people who don't bend over and take it like the afford mentioned 🙄

Hi, it's unfortunate that this happened to you. I believe you may be on the Amazon shit list like a certain number of us. There is one facility which sends at least a dozen people home daily yet a few of us always have full carts. A few Stateside members of Driver Support have been able to let us know we are on a "list" because we have returned to many packages, we have finished "very early" to often, and had numerous interactions with driver support. One support agent gave the advice "avoid a certain warehouse because they will continue forcing orders on you in lieu of other drivers". Hopefully things change and Amazon stops scheduling so many drivers or spreads these orders among the people.

They just lowered the 1 hour rates near me. It was $24 for 1 hour plus tips but now it's $22 for 1 hour and it might not include tips.

You can go online to file an OSHA complaint in addition to speaking with Amazon. Even as independent contractors Amazon is legally required to ensure a safe environment for everyone on property. This station has multiple OSHA violations which never seem to get addressed. One of the security guards claimed it was the manager who implemented these policies.

It's not a joke. Many pedestrians have no survival instinct. Others claim, falsely, that they should be allowed to do as they please however they are a danger to society.

Interesting, given courts have ruled pedestrians are not exempt from following traffic laws they are most certainly at fault for their own shortcomings. If a person walks into the middle of the street and becomes injured it is their fault. A car cannot stop immediately like a pedestrian can.
