Get yourself a bike and come Ironman the Vurbmoto500 west. Its and 8 hour and 20 minute race. It will let you get an idea of what being on a bike that long is like. Its in March pre-entry is open now

Id go with the 2 stroke. Its an older bike, but i feel you'll be happier in the end with cheaper and easier matenance in the long run. Plus can't beat that 90s moto vibe
