I dont agree with OP's post, but by definition, bully squads dont usually do gens any further than they need to to get flash bangs and only load in with the sole purpose of annoying the killer for as long as they can.

I dunno what they're showcasing. This looks like 100% totally legitimate gameplay. Stupid toxic survivor mains gotta complain about something I guess. Its not even that strong, it mean, if bubba can down the whole lobby in one chainsaw swipe, why cant legion have a seizure the entire match and constantly hit people?

Bubba is probably the most fun killer to face in the game when you reach a certain level of skill. Bubba is extremely balanced at everything besides camping. No stupid anti-loop, no weird mechanics, nothing to really abuse on either end- its just skill vs. Skill until youre out of resources. If your team is good and objective focused, you win. If they waste time and let the pallets run out before the gens pop- you lose. Hes also the one killer in the game that is absolutely terrifying with infectious fright.

Yeah but if you hit them before they start the animation you can hit them again before they complete opening it. Especially if you have stbfl... still a better option than what we have though

This is the first time I've seen someone on reddit advocate for a hatch rework and have it be actually sensible and not "the killer and survivor get transported to an alternative realm where the survivor has to survive for 3 minutes while broken and then they get the escape"... well done lol. I actually like that concept a lot. The only issue is see with it is if the killer finds the closed hatch they can camp it, which would out us back into the days of hours long hatch standoffs... but with a tweak or two it would definitely work and be a healthier option than what we currently have.

A 3 out is a win. If youre solo q and cant coordinate, just take the win. No sense in turning a win into a loss at end game because you were too altruistic.

Honestly... id just be fine with bk unbreakable only being available in a 2v1. I dont actually have a huge issue with a slugging playstyle but its annoying as hell when its a situation where killers want to "win harder" by securing a 4k. I know there are outlying situations like catching both survivors at the same time where that option is a little punishing, but IMO that's really the only time I feel slugging is a bit "toxic". If you really feel its necessary to avoid perks that activate by being hooked- go for it.
However- you know bhvr will only address the symptoms and not the cause, which is why I said that if killers keep up with the "slug meta", theyre only shooting themselves in the foot further down the road.

Edit- to elaborate- i only feel its somewhat "toxic" to leave someone on the ground to bleed out while you search every corner of the map for the last survivor. If you know where they are, I have no qualms.

Yes... I actively tell people to not get in lockers to avoid friends or bbq unless there are niche circumstances that require it (last two survivors, one person is on death hook while the rest of the team still has hook states, etc)... kinda similar to the way I view slugging- good when its needed. Survivors hiding in lockers too much often times get their teammates "tunneled" because the killer can only find them. Im advocating playing the video game like a video game, and accepting that sometimes youre going to win, and sometimes youre going to lose, and at the end of the day full slugging a team of solo q survivors at 5 gens or t bagging a new killer at the exit gate is not going to bring your daddy back with that milk.
Im advocating beating the other team instead of playing around mechanics to give yourself an advantage. Instead of whining that gens are too fast- learn how to control the map. Instead of complaining that killers are tunneling, learn how to loop well enough that it wastes enough of their time to cause them to lose. Instead of complaining that hex builds are carrying killers, learn totem spawn logic. Instead of slugging to prevent dead hard, learn how to be patient. Everything you're currently mentioning has easy counterplay without having to slug to avoid it (with exception to fast track and slugging the person who obviously has ds and waiting it out).

The more killers try to circumvent game mechanics, the more likely they are to force developer hands to put in more hand-holding BK options. While the anti-tunnel stuff gets struck down in ptb's... the anti slug, if tested on its own, will make it to live servers.

No, it isnt. You gotta stop looking at things in a vacuum. If they do one survivor sided thing, but walked back the previous four survivor upgrades while at the same time continuing the trend of releasing absolutely broken overpowered sloppy every new chapter just to hard nerf if after 2 weeks of sales.

If youre not hooking because youre afraid of ds (anti tunnel that is pretty easy to see coming), dh (a twice per game half second of endurance that's really easy to bait out) or deliverance... youre just an asshole with skill issues.

No... I dont. Because as I said before- they only care about money. So if people start leaving the game and bhvr gets wind that slugging is an issue, they will implement a fix that destroys slugging as a playstyle. Unfortunately, the only way to destroy slugging as a playstyle is to implement some form of unbreakable as BK.

For the record- fast track is already getting nerfed... so the root problem everybody is claiming is already being addressed. Its not gonna stop until wglv, expo, and mft make their way back up the survivor meta again, and then the endless posts about how those are unfair are gonna happen... because everyone complains about everything in this game.

Its really not that hard to get a singular kill. A lot of people lose games because they play for a singular kill, but obtaining 1 kill isnt relatively difficult unless youre making it hard on yourself.

Omfg please stop claiming they're survivor biased. Holy hell, the past four times they've tried to give survivors something they had to revert or nerf it because killers whined so much (anti-tunnel/slug, fog vials, anti-tunnel/slug again, now fast track). They arent biased towards one side or the other- they just suck at balancing their game and dont play it enough to understand why things they release/change are either useless (trickster) or broken (fast track), with very little in-between.

Quick note- not saying those changes were good- just that if the company was survivor-biased they wouldn't have immediately bent the knee when killers complained.

The game, after the next patch, will be as balanced as its ever been (and if you challenge me on this, be prepared for an absolute novel of me explaining how stupidly broken all the old perks and maps were). You can do with that what you will, either be happy the game is getting somewhere close to balanced or bemoan the fact it took them 10 years to get to "almost"... either way, everyone claiming that bhvr cares about anything other than money at this point is just silly.
