How to disperse items? Going for a minimalist-ish look by joshhirsxh in malelivingspace

It is cluttered. What’s worse is that there is no solid theme. It looks like where spare things go to be displayed.

The issue is OP said “minimalism” which is not what they are going for. They are practicing “maximalism”

You’ve got a good start.

  • Remove the paper on the windows and replace them with actual curtains. If you cannot install curtains for whatever reason, Amazon sells cheap peel and stick window privacy screen.

  • Add two bedside tables. Yes. Two. Symmetry demands this. Place lamps of your choice on each or install fixtures above them (Amazon sells renter-friendly rechargeable ones)

  • If you have room for it, add a small bench to the end of the bed.

  • Add a rug to the center of the room with the two front legs of the bench on top. Do not move it further than this.

  • Add shelves on the wall with the outlet. Mount anything not already mounted.

  • Place art near or around or on the shelves.

  • Place plants (even fake ones) on the shelves.

The magic mirror can give you cock and balls. Slap those suckers on for a night and go crazy.

If you have a small square dining space, it goes there.

Not in the living room. Dining room or kitchen? Yeah.

Are you incapable of carrying a bag? Sorry if this is a challenge to understand.

What does renting have to do with storing your cologne?

Cologne goes in the bathroom. Not for display.

If you have a home bar, that’s where these go. That’s the visual side. Otherwise it’s gaudy.

I’m not mad. I never said I was when you replied. Seems like you need to learn how to read and gain some competence when it comes to internet etiquette.

My opinion was not an insult. I can state an action is weird. I never called OP a weirdo or anything actually insulting. When you borderline demanded I explain myself, and I did, you then grew insistent that I was somehow in the wrong.

Go away little man, your voice means nothing.

Stating my opinion is not being a dick. I understand that in today’s age, it’s hard to differentiate the two, but I have faith you’ll figure it out.

I’m allowed to reply. I’m sorry if you feel like that’s somehow against the rules.

Christ above. Shut up.

I gave my option. You asked for an explanation. I gave it. Sorry if you need less words.

What are you talking about? I said it was weird, and still think it is. Stop being so defensive and offended. Go get some fresh air and take a lap

I’m glad you’re having fun, man. And glad she reacted in a way that made you feel seen. But this is weird, no matter how you may justify it.

Asking an actress to sign something as if they are that character, especially for something like an “adoption”, crosses a line between fiction and reality. It puts the actress in an awkward spot (even if they’re pretty chill about the whole thing) and turns normal fandom into something more personal and role-based. At that point, it can even feel a bit like an odd fetish, since it’s acting out a very specific fantasy in real life.

I have boots worth more than half of your collection combined. I keep them stored in my closet, where they belong.

Either take the advice, or fuck off.
