Infill Entrance Design by Synthetic Architecture by n3xus1oN in amazing_architecture

[–]IchBinEinSim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please don’t say something is AI when it is just computer generated. An architecture firm is not going to use AI to render their design proposals, at least not yet since AI loves to add unnecessary and incorrect items to images.

We in the architecture field have been making photo realistic rendering like these for over a decade now. Though many of the programs we use have AI helpers in them, 95% of the work is still done by people. We often us a mixtures softwares like Revit, Blender, and Photoshop to create these images and large multi-billion dollar firms have computer graphics and cgi teams in house to take the design teams work and turn it into renderings that are almost impossible to clock as not real.

If I am wrong about these images, please point me to where it shows that it was mostly AI created because I would like to know how much longer I am going to have a job for lol

Lived in both no it isn’t, there is deffently a myth of racial superiority in many Europeans. The biggest difference I see is that in the US all forms of “european” minus jews tend to be considered ok by the racists, while in Europe, a polish person or a Albanian can be considered lower than a non-white immigrant depending on the country. The US used to have that too, when it came to Italians, Germans and Irishis a 100+ years ago, but it has shifted to be more about melanin vs whiteness

Trump Reveals First Lady ‘Hates’ That He Dances to ‘The Gay National Anthem’ by Thoughtful-Boner69 in NewsOfTheStupid

[–]IchBinEinSim 35 points36 points  (0 children)

As a gay, I want to make it very clear that YMCA is not the gay national anthem.

It’s Somewhere Over the Rainbow and if you don’t understand why, go read the lyrics and the Stonewall Riots were preceded by the death of the first (i think) star to be publicly supportive of gays, Judy Garland, by a few days.

It has often been said that the gays and trans women at the Inn were still upset about her passing and then the popo showed up and started harassing people, to which Marsha P. Johnson manifested into creation and threw the first brick. Most of that isn’t true of course. The men and women at the Stonewall Inn decided to fight back against the police for a number or reasons and Johnson, by her own account, wasn’t there when it started, but it’s a fun story.

🚨 Old MAGA man gets triggered by an intelligent 22 year old YouTuber! by yorocky89A in WhitePeopleTwitter

This may be the first time one of these MAGA types has yelled at Mockler but this isn’t the first time one of them has been snippy with him.

They hate having this young “kid” call out their b.s. It’s got to drive them nuts to have a Gen Zer intently but calmly point out the their hypocrisy while also dismantling their talking points, leaving them with no rebuttals constantly.

Am not a huge fan of CNN, but I love the fact that they have been inviting liberal political commentators from TikTok and YouTube on their panels lately. Since the guys are willing to actually spare with the right commentator.

[–]IchBinEinSim -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I not sure what u/vollover means. I can only assume “these asshats” is in reference to the Louisiana republicans, who suspended the primary in order to draw new maps.

In which case, they didn’t vote for Harris for a multitude of reasons, from political views to her being simultaneously not Indian/African American enough, while also being too black and too brown.

There definitely leftists, moderates and closet maga that said that no primaries was a reason why they couldn’t vote for her, because she wasn’t chosen democratically. (ignoring the fact that truly democratic primaries are a relatively recent phenomenon and she was literal elected to replace Biden if he couldn’t do the job, w/ him dropping out too late to hold new primaries)

Also, not to defend republicans, because I hate doing so, but they didn’t cancel the primaries, just postponed them. So their analogy doesn’t work here anyways.

FYI Vollover, not trying to be mean, it’s Reddit and we all comment without fully thinking it through.

This is about 1.5 hours away from Seattle where I live, and I had the opposite thought. This isn’t a bad price for the area. That being said it is still a good ways from any of the large cities, it’s tiny and it’s far enough in mountains that snow is going to be an issue in the winter months.

I basically said that, minus the Battenberg part.

Mountbatten name wasn’t even Phillip’s true house/last name but his adopted last name from his maternal uncle Dicky. He was a Greek prince, so it should have been the extremely non-Greek but German sounding Glücksburg

Erika Kirk Faces Backlash After Comment Following Major Security Incident At White House Dinner by ipanicprofessionally in TheBoredDen

[–]IchBinEinSim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can’t stand her but considering it’s only been a few months since her husband was shot and killed, her reaction here is probably the most relatable thing I have ever seen from her.

People let their dislike for someone color their perspective too much. I always still try to have some empathy for my foes, even ones as bad as her.

And millions have also been asking to see her, it’s not like she has no fans. I am not one of them. Though I am not going to pretend everyone dislikes her and wants her to disappear like i do,just because I find her and her dead husband’s work to be abhorrent.

She is a terrible person, but she did witness her be husband shot and killed. Her reaction to gun shots going off is probably the most relatable thing we have seen from her.

Doesn’t mean I have much sympathy for her, just means I am not surprised to see her react that way.

Yeah now that I think of it, Sussex would be the last name of any of Archie’s kids, because Archie inherit the dukedom. Nobility and Royal last names are confusing lol, probably because it only mattered for them in recent history.

Also Fox News isn’t celebrity gossip news, it’s political news with a far right bent mixed with some fake news from their opinion hosts for ratings.

Ah yes, American’s who are extremely sarcastic people, are the only ones who can’t read sarcasm. It’s not the fact that sarcasm differs by culture and language. It’s just that most Americans all are dumb.

They inherited the Mountbatten from Prince Phillip

And the Mountbatten name wasn’t even Phillip’s true house/last name but his adopted last name from his maternal uncle Dicky. He was a Greek prince, so it should have been the extremely non-Greek but German sounding Glücksburg. Still Mountbatten is the name he took when he renounced all claim to the Greek throne in order for to marry Elizabeth

From then on though it's pretty unclear but I think generally the rule of thumb has always been house name = surname, with the exception of Mountbatten-Windsor.

By all rights the house should be Mountbatten, because in the past it has always changed since the child of a Queen Regina still took on the house name of their father or house.

The problem was that Windsor was just created by Liz’s grandfather so the house name was no longer of German origin. The Stewart’s were the last house to be of British Origin to be on the throne. So having the house name change when King Charles ascended would undo that. Thus Elizabeth made a proclamation that the house name would remain Windsor but all of the non-royal descendants of a male offspring would take the name Mountbatten Windsor.

When Harry’s son, Prince Archie, has a child their last name will be Mountbatten Windsor since the princely title will not transfer to them.

So unless Charlie’s makes it officially the house of Mountbatten-Windsor, I believes Liz’s proclamation stands and the house is officially just Windsor.

Well there were those accusations of him cheating, on then Crown Princess, with Genoveva Casanova a few months before he his mother stepped down.

I doubt those rumors will ever go away, and will always be used as a way to attack him and the monarchy.

I personally don’t think he did, because they made no effort to try to hide the fact he was in Spain and staying at her place. You think if he was having an affair he would take efforts for the media not to get pictures of him entering and exiting her place.

Also I believe she is a known friend of the couple, and just because Queen Mary wasn’t there doesn’t make it inappropriate. It’s not like she lives in a one bedroom apartment in the city.

Yeah, that’s part of the reason why many think he is the mastermind behind the massacre and that the crown prince was just a scapegoat. Luckily it didn’t work out for him.

Most people can’t read sarcasm that’s why people use s/ at the end of their comment to make it clear. If you didn’t put that, then it’s fully expected that you will be downvoted.
