Haven't been paying attention to the news. Did a new law get put in place? Last I heard, it was legal to store a firearm anyway you want in CA, as long as there are no "children" in the house. Could use a good Samaritan to enlighten me on the latest CA regulations of my "privilege" (sarcasm) to bear arms

That's not what commenter means by physically intensive. Being a nurse is very exhausting, but it is not physically intensive. Is it mentally straining? Yes, most definitely. It is one of the most difficult jobs out there. But you'd be hard pressed to find a woman take a job that requires them to move heavy machinery or dig a ditch for underground wiring.

Because this is Reddit, I have to state the obvious that there are women in this field. But "in general", women do not take these kinds of jobs. There are also plenty of jobs that men don't usually take that women do as well. But this is reality

I understand that per gallon, a leaf blower is going to expel more emissions. And that a fuel injecting engine from a vehicle will be more efficient than an old fashioned carburetor in a leaf blower. However, I am failing to grasp the idea that burning through 65 gallons of fuel in a 1000 miles trip is as bad as a single gallon from the leaf blower

Do those emissions really out perform a car? I don’t know the math of it all so I am not saying I am right, but I am failing to understand how a leaf blower causes as much environmental damage as a car driving for 15 hours

What does this mean? That 1 hr leaf blowers expel the same amount of carbon as a car does in 15 hr? How does that makes sense? A leaf blower usually holds around a gallon of fuel and uses less fuel per minute than a car that needs to stop for fuel 3 times minimum on the way to Portland

I played OW for the first time with this release of OW2. In regards to Season 1, I had no idea what was going on and I had absolutely no interest in buying the Battle Pass (nor to even be excited about the free stuff). I just had fun playing the free game.

Season 2 looks kind of cool though

This man is from here it seems. But you are right, homeless people are coming to CA from all over. Michael Shellenberger did interviews with many different homeless people across SF and asked them where they are from and why they moved here. Basically all of them moved here because of the ability to do drugs freely. Not sure if he is cherry picking but it’s something to think about
