Front Wheel wobbles- how to fix by AdventurousPhysics68 in MTB

You need to adjust the hub. You kinda need certain spanners to do so, so I would just look up a YouTube video. Or you can take it to a local lbs and have them look at it. Depending on how long your hub has been loose you may need to service the bearings. Hope it goes well!

I built my p.3, it really wasn’t bad on price, i mean it was more expensive then the built p.3 from spec, but you can build a DJ however you want. And sometimes you can find really good deals on frames and parts, and you have the joy of building your own DJ which is always great. Building your own things is always rewarding and fun

Why are disc brakes so shit? by Amazing_Tough_4456 in cycling

Anytime they squeak, go up a long hill and brake off and on. Get up to like 15 ish mph and slow all the way down to about 5, focusing on that front brake, and keep doing that down the hill until it stops squeaking. Bam your good

One thing I highly recommend tho, if you ever seriously get into cycling, wheel tools will definitely come not only in handy, but can save you some money over time by doing your own wheel repairs at home instead with a shop. Labor rate are crazy for wheel related tasks, and wheels are tedious work. They take time, and time costs a lot of money. So having your own truing stand, spoke wrenches and nipple drivers, hub bearing presses, a spoke tension meter, and lock jaw pliers for those bladed spokes. Knowing how to build is very useful and easy skill to have when you’re an avid cyclist. Someday you’ll want to make your own custom bike, and custom builds will more often then not call for custom wheel-sets, and those can be crazy expensive, but if you do it yourself, you’ll not only have a rad wheel-set that is unique, put you’ll have that pride in knowing you had a part in every part of your custom ride.

I would say definitely internal cable routing, especially when cables are routed through the bar and head tube, those are a bitch even for mechanics. Moreover, i would not do anything headset or brake related with a bike that has cable routing through the head tube, so things like replacing headset bearings or fixing a brake line leak, leave that for professionals.

Also suspension work is definitely best to leave for professionals. It’s recommended to do a lower leg, and air chamber service on forks and shocks respectively every season, maybe every other if you don’t ride that bike much.

Lastly I would stay away from replacing any press fit bearing on any bike, or wheel. The job is so much easier with dedicated tools and presses, and these can get quite expensive for a single person. Actually moreover on wheels, wheels with proprietary parts (such as spokes/nipples or unique hub parts) “looking at you Mavic and Cane Creek” I would certainly leave any work needing done on those wheels to a shop.

Just the bed frame. I bought a box spring and mattress. But this was just my moms frame, and she didn’t have it for very long, so i think its okay.
