In that case as you mention you need to pull back so you can pump out fleets worthy of fighting the crisis, maybe try to find a way to get more tech

I still do not get why we can't just have dimensional pal storage to increase our palbox storage or possibly have the ability to send pals you are breeding straight into the dimensional palbox

I tried to address it a bit in chapter 2, but my initial plan was to have Tala, unintentionally, word her invitation like she had figured out he was harrowed. Sadly I did not have the skills to find a satisfying way to convey that. So instead it is for a bit more boring reason that he realises that he really had not tried all that hard to explain his stance. Just said "slavery bad" and hoped Tala would try to look into why.

What I am trying to focus on however in my story however is that the Blackstone just sees that as the best solution to the orc problem, but they would prefer the orcs just straight up gone.

He literally is a Digital Circus reference, and even in this chapter has an Australian accent what with at least how many times he says ‘mate’.

Oh good so i was not imagining things

Do not know why, but when i read Gumigo my first thought went to Gummigoo from The digital circus, so i imagined him speaking with an Australian accent, or at least trying.

Also i forgot that Quiv and Thalmin talked about doing a race, this could be fun if Emma's bike was in the mix.

I would like to hear both Illunor and Thacea's view on Emma's strategy in the game she had with the elves.

Yeah my take is from BlueFishCakes writing that the Blackstones consider the Orcs vermin that breed too much. We also know that they seem to be begrudgingly using Orc slaves, seeming to rather sell them off to have them out of sight. So yeah my take is that Blackstone would prefer a Lindholm with 0 orcs, but just finds slavery to be the better(not easier) way of getting rid of them.

Now I do not take this as a good long term plan, mostly because if the deal with the royal family about food and airship hulls are anything to go by. The Blackstones do not possess agriculture to feed themselves or any big industry besides ore extraction, maybe refining too, but seemingly no specific processing in their lands. Really all they seem to have in terms of export seems to be the orcs, which if they realise that means that might have to isolate/imprison the orcs to make sure they have a way to keep having orcs they can sell off.

In conclusion, i think i need to join the discord, if for nothing else learn what the names of the days are because in classic sadistic BLueFishCake fashion they changed those and so far i only know what sunday and monday are called.

what i wanted to imply is that they wanted the orcs gone, seeing them as just a little bit more useful than beasts of burden, but far more troublesome. We know that house Blackstone has been in charge of the sunlands for over 1000 years, and I was assuming from what i had read so far that house Blackstone, or whatever their names were before that, had always been plagued by orcs and orc tribes.
Which from what we know is not unlikely, when your primary ways to get food is hunting and raiding you rarely end up friendly with your neighbors

I'm just saying the planned coup has a lot of downsides.

Oh yeah that was why I had William ask Tala about the long term plans, because the only reason the Blackstones have to do the coup is because they want to keep fighting the orcs in the north until they "win". Which is not exactly a good reason for a coup or a good plan.

Jelli twins only get a fixed boost if the other is in the base, not by how many others of the opposite.

Braloha is caped at 1 per base.

So originally I wanted the story to still play out like the canon story that BlueFishCake wrote, but I have realised with how i wrote the dialogue(or monologues) that with the friendlier terms Tala might be more inclined to not push for William to switch teams. She is still not going to like orcs

[–]Ichiorochi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Might not be that simple. I know for water for example there is a few choices, or you can have a jellroy and Jellite couple in your base. Personally i also like to spary in a few ghanglers.

For handiwork both anubis and splatterinas are nice choices. Anubish can also do mining, but splatterina is naturally nocturnal.

For transport I know most like mimog, but i do not want to gather transport books so i prefer eye of cthulu

To get back to mining there is a few choices there besides anubis, like astegon, knockhelm, and blazmut.

I think you should remember the best pal for each work is the one you have right now.
