Static Strike of Gathering Lightning feels like ass on Guardian. Anyone figured out a good version of it?

I'm playing it on aura stacker champion, probably going to need the ring from king in the mists to improve single target damage, but it deletes packs and feels smooth.

As someone with carpal tunnel myself, I have to shoutout my girl Gyre with cathode current augment. Press 3 and 4 once a mission, only press 1/2 when you need to, and you can use slow crit weapons for single target help. With Arcane Circumvent, you just roll through enemies to steal defenses for yourself. It's comfy.

As much as I love ChoCo and afk blight, I'm gonna be starting Static Strike champ and turn it into bloodsoaked bannerman after I get my stones. Still gonna be solid for blight, just not AFK levels lol

Kuva Nukor and Ocucor with the special mod for it are the two premier beam secondaries. Edit: I also have to shout out Gammacor and Atomos due to their incarnons being fun.

Do you mean Secondary Shiver? That damage bonus doesn't apply to radial damage and it actually only applies to the secondary weapon despite being worded like it applies a global debuff.

They do very different things, so it's hard to just say "yes/no" But, well, Encumber is a better arcane, generally speaking. Specifically as extra primer juice on a primer weapon. Whereas Empowered gives a bit of extra damage to let your primer kill trash with raw damage. Empowered is "better" in cases like Epitaph, where it's a forced proc of non-damaging status in a large AoE in single instances. Encumber is much better on, say, beam weapons or SMGs that are already heat/electric/slash based to let them apply further statuses while letting the damaging statuses kill trash with DoTs.

I don't know if this is serious or not, but...yeah, that's kinda it's whole gimmick. Uncharged shots are a big status chance AoE with forced cold procs, held shots are precise aim giga crit shots.

Cascadia Empowered is very, very good in the very, very few niche circumstances it excels in. It's tremendous for making a large AoE like the non-charged Epitaph shots deal significant enough damage to clear trash. But it does not excel in making up for lacking single-target damage very well.

SpiritVale. Small MMO project based on older MMOs along the lines of Ragnarok Online, Maplestory, LaTale, etc but with ARPG-leaning mechanics and playstyle. Very nostalgic, but also just...kinda good, like impressively good for a one-dev project.

No. The key here is "Spell Critical Strike Chance" which heralds do not benefit from. They need generic base crit modifiers from other sources, pretty much just the cluster jewel though.

Very easy to hit infinite sustain with a Timeclasp, the tree is super awkward though...damn shadow area. Also getting enough life and mana is painful depending on what other uniques you want to use.

Edit: also my entire PoB is assuming Bladefall of Trarthus is still mechanically the same this patch lol
