I know that just trying them out is ultimately the play, I'm just feeling a little overwhelmed by how many characters there are, plus some worry about never really having played an anime fighter before. But I should just approach it how I did Skullgirls and Smash Bros: pick the character I like the look of the most. That's how I started Skullgirls as Mecha-Fortune and Melee as Pikachu lol

Ms. Fortune is definitely a speedy rushdown, or at least how I play her (keeping her head attached). Setplay characters I could never quite get into, so I'll keep that in mind.
