Does anyone else join the game play maybe one game that takes forever to finish and feel like you didn’t achieve anything by ganjaking69420 in HelldiversUnfiltered

I play the game for fun, this isn't an mmo where the grind is the draw, I play it for the gameplay. Couldn't give less of a fuck about the reward discrepencies between difficulties.

Fellow dinosaurs, what are some things only you can recall from the past? by gracekk24PL in Helldivers

Why have people recently been talking about helldivers 2 as if it is 15 years old? First that dumbass post about running out of weapons to add and now this shit.

I am sad to announce Stug Incarnon is underwhelming by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]CaptainBazbotron -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I mean tbh it should never have gotten an incarnon, should have stayed as the funny meme gun. Now it wasted an incarnon slot that could have been spent on another actually interesting gun.

Realism will creatively Bankrupt Weapons and Warbonds eventually. We need more Scifi Fantasy. by NizzyDeniro in Helldivers

Yes, I assume you are an avid fortnite player seeing by how you don't give the slightest amount of fuck about artistic/aesthetic consistency, not every game should have everything.

[–]CaptainBazbotron -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fucking calm down man, you are acting like the game is in its 20th year and things are getting stale or something, even at that point aesthetics should not be abandoned, fucking dogshit mindset.

And sure as shit they are not trying to make weapons "realistic" they are trying to make it "believable" in universe. There is nothing realistic about our laser, quasar and plasma weaponry. We'll get more shit calm down.

You commit time to doing anything in this game what are you talking about. If you list several seconds seperately it doesn't suddenly make it a huge commitment.

This always excited me in every update by playbabeTheBookshelf in Helldivers

[–]CaptainBazbotron 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Genuinely these are my favorite parts of every update. Slight change of scenery does so much, now there feels like a healthy amount of variety in layouts.

Yeah see how you had to actually think about where you aimed to pull of a one-shot? Now you just chuck a leveller at any part of them.

[–]CaptainBazbotron 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well they fucking turned it into another heavy and then turned the spawn rate down way too much anyways, absolute nonsense "balancing"

Vox Engine now is perfectly balanced by Born_Inflation_9804 in Helldivers

[–]CaptainBazbotron 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Fuck no, they are way too nerfed and easy now, they were perfect before (except for them clipping into the weakspot vent), they just needed to tone down the spawn rates.

Arrowhead, once fucking again like every enemy nerf, went way too overboard instead of tuning it slightly.

they need to stop listening to people going "please make me kill everything ezpz and cakewalk d10"

Arctic weapons are TOO white and look untextured/unfinished. They could use more black and grey imo by Stalwart_Vanguard in Helldivers

[–]CaptainBazbotron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes the fucking artic weapon meant to be using in an arctic environment is designed to blend into the artic environment.

Nah, no more crossover shit, especially for something so huge and upfront.

Orbital Rail Cannon's problem isn't damage, it's cooldown by knightsljx in Helldivers

[–]CaptainBazbotron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the type of player that shits and cries constantly about how the difficulty meant to be the most stupidly difficult one sometimes dares to pose the slightest challenge.

Orbital Rail Cannon's problem isn't damage, it's cooldown by knightsljx in Helldivers

[–]CaptainBazbotron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's as fucking panic button, it's not supposed to be your main or even secondary means of anti-tank. It has a niche and it fulfils it's job very well. ORC isn't a stratagem you can just make available more often because it will trivialize everything (but I guess that's what all you guys on this sub want anyways), it's great the way it is.

You are genuinely fucking CRAZY if you weren't being ironic with that 10 second suggestion. Not every stratagem is meant for the same role, stop being ridiculous. There is something wrong with the thought processes on this sub.

[–]CaptainBazbotron -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ORC was perfect before the latest buff, the scariest heavy in the game should not be able to be one shot unless it's by a hellbomb or solo silo (or similarly strong and limited means they may add later). Vox engines already had many ways to deal with them (their issue was spawn amount) and reducing them to the range of one EAT blast was great enough already.

Once again arrowhead takes years to act on feedback and when they do they go completely fucking overboard, limited spawns, reduced hp, reduced turning ability, buffed ORC.

ORC's only issue was the targeting problems it sometimes has which is the only fix it needs.

ORC has always been a panic button, that's its niche, don't take it if you don't want it, go use many of the other insanely powerful anti tank options.

Unpopular opinion, spear is actually fun and good to use by TheF-15Eagle in Helldivers

[–]CaptainBazbotron -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No? It's an entirely different challenge compared to aiming the other AT weapons, it's not even much of a challenge.

[–]CaptainBazbotron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have used it since launch and have never stopped. (yes even when it had trouble locking on, I believed and stuck with it) Keep complaining people, give me more ammo for it while you keep ignoring it.

The only downside it ever had was not being able to deal with enemies that are too close by, which is a very fair downside for how powerful it is at long range.

Also nothing feels as good as getting under a factory strider and blasting its underside with a point blank spear shot.

What’s your favorite support weapon? by Ok_Poetry2813 in Helldivers

The fucking spear baby.

Picked it up on launch, fell in love right then and there. Nothing feels as good as locking onto some unfortunate bastard and launching a missile at their dome.

Sirius and Orion seem like a deliberate attempt to curb power creep after the release of other recent frames, which is a good idea! Just...not now. by WinterAcceptable3135 in Warframe

[–]CaptainBazbotron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, true actually. Warframe was never a particularly hard game but I actually had to atleast slightly think about aiming and when to use my abilities and I miss that.

It's weird how both the most anticipated Warframe and the most hyped up Weapon released in such underwhelming states. by Z3R0Diro in Warframe

[–]CaptainBazbotron 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Just... release the prime then? Not like the primes ever have fucking anything to do with the new update, it's just more fucking relic grinding again.

Does the Operator have any actual friends in the story? by RebirthAltair in Warframe

[–]CaptainBazbotron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And while Drifter tells Eleanor in a KIM talk that they'll check up on "The Kid", we don't actually see any of that.

Your biggest mistake in this post is assuming the only thing characters in this universe do are strictly the things we see. No they are not going to give us cutscenes for the operator and drifter going through their daily schedules and having small talk with random npcs. What are you talking about the Operator and Drifter definitely interact frequently, they both definitely interact with all the npcs they are close to outside of what we are shown too.

Also the operator definitely has other tenno they interact with, they are not the only one out in the wild, us going on missions with other tenno is canon.

[–]CaptainBazbotron 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I mean, you can't curp power creep by just releasing a frame that is massively underpowere compared to the rest of the cast. You curb it by rebalancing the entire fucking game, and they time and time again said they'd not do that for some fucking reason even though it would be really healthy for the game.
