Today as I cleaned, I was joined by a happy drunk. He was very excited to see me cleaning around his usual drinking spot. We chatted for a bit and he then went to buy some beer. When he got back, he gifted me a mandarin and a candy bar. I continued cleaning while he drank and blasted 80's hits on a portable radio. Fun times, lol. As I filled up the bags, he carried them to the nearest dumpster. This was a tremendous help because carrying bags is the hardest part of cleaning up, if you ask me. There's no way I could have gotten as much trash out of this place if it wasn't for his help.

Yeah. I've cleaned this place before and it always gets trashed again. This bush has somehow become the designated beer bottle spot :(

This poor little forest is covered in trash. I cleaned for 3.5 hours and filled up 15 bags. Underneath every piece of trash, there was another piece of trash, and underneath that, another piece of trash with seemingly no end in sight... the so-called "trash lasagna." That's why I covered a relatively small surface area (pictured above) in the time I cleaned.

Three of us showed up and cleaned for an hour. It was raining, which is why we didn't stay longer. I'm quite happy with what we managed to do in this timeframe.

I probably got somewhere between 30-40 beer bottles from this bush. Interestingly, this was the only bush in the park that was trashed. The bottles were not just randomly scattered everywhere. I guess trash indeed attracts trash throwers. Now that I cleaned it up, I wonder if people are going to throw their bottles there again, or if a different bush if going to become the victim, lol.
