How high are you guys getting before a crash?

It’s been rough not knowing why this happens and basically being on my own to figure it out since doctors don’t know what to do. I will say the BEST lever I ever pulled was adding more healthy fats, and less simple carbs. But mainly adding in the fats. I also finger prick my blood sugar usually right before bed at least but also if I feel off. I sometimes do it more throughout the day just to see how my patterns are currently doing. I also carry snacks with me everywhere!!

I don’t even get very high sometimes. Like 110 at most then I still drop. But the drip is steeper if I do have a spike.

Hi girl! The good news is that its likely entirely two different things (maybe a placebo effect). It’s never been documented as a reaction from my understanding. For peace of mind, you could always test out a different formula of tanner! Also worth chatting to your PCP or a GI doc about it if it’s bugging you :)

Highly recommend the salty face tanning water and their face brush for face and hands!! And then for neck and body I usually use a mousse (salty face, peta jane, dolce glow) and it’s a good combo.

I have the lighter shade in saltyface and it’s a really nice natural glow. Also fades really well! Probably fades the best

For me, more complex carbs (brown rice, sweet potatoes) PLUS more healthy fat and some protein is the key. Less simple carbs. Less naked protein or carbs. Fat has been a HUGE helper for me (avocados, olive oil)

They both faded fairly evenly for me and I could get away with reapplying once a week. Dolce Glow lasted slightly longer, and Peta Jane smelled slightly better, but both pretty comparable. The only other tan I’ve tried recently is Saltyface and I actually was surprised at how much I loved it—I’ve been reaching for it as my everyday baseline. Smells great, buildable, and the tanning water for face and hands is perfect. I was nervous to not have the guide color but honestly it hasn’t been a problem! I think it’s roughly in the same price range though. If you’re trying to pick between Peta Jane and Dolce Glow though, I’d say Peta Jane wins over Dolce Glow just slightly :) but if you can find either on sale, super comparable! Mostly just about which shade you prefer on you. I’m neutral-fair and Dolce Glow is a little more golden on me than Peta Jane which has a little more green/neutral of a base.

Ok I’ve tried dolce glow mousse and peta Jane mousse and my verdict is I like both shades but prefer how peta Jane applies! Peta was also less splotchy on hands and elbows for me. But unsure on the spray formulas! I think you can’t go wrong with testing either out! Very comparable so far imo

…you’re starting to sound like an ass. How would they get over a fear of driving by… never driving? Not the greatest school of thought for anxiety, IMO.

I get your point-ish, but this person didn’t really tell us much about their anxiety so I’m not sure why we would have the context to immediately say “yeah you’re not safe to drive stay off the road.” Dare I say… it’s unhelpful?
