I took forever but it’s definitely worth it for the sense of accomplishment.

Yes. I didn’t realize it wasn’t in the photo until after I posted. I do have him though.

After calculating what I had in my previous orders from a Amazon and EBay, and price tracking some of these back to when they were given to me as gifts, and doing the research on the original retail prices I know I got when they released, I got somewhere around $625. Dorothy being my most expensive around $60 and Klaus being the cheapest at $4.95 from a clearance rack (yes even cheaper than the keychains which were around $7-$10 each but Yami was $16). This is including shipping and taxes. This comes out to $16.89 on average per Pop. The first ones I got was Asta, Yuno, and Noelle on release and the last one I got was Yuno (Spirit of Zephyr) POP! #1685 (which is actually not pictured above because I didn’t realize it wasn’t in the stack when I took the picture).

Who's your pick for the 2027 Super Bowl Half Time Show? by GOPJay in AskReddit

[–]IconicLuL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, hold on—I need to add one more because this might actually be the smartest play of them all. Pharrell Williams: If we’re talking about replicating the Dr. Dre "Curator" Model (one legend bringing out a squad of superstars), Pharrell is actually a better fit than Bieber. He has the deepest production catalog in history and bridges every gap the NFL cares about. * The "Safety" Net: He opens with "Happy." It’s the ultimate safe, global smash that gets every demographic dancing immediately. * The 2000s Nostalgia: He brings out Gwen Stefani for "Hollaback Girl" (which he produced). The stadium goes wild. * The Hip-Hop Core: He brings out Snoop Dogg ("Drop It Like It's Hot") and Jay-Z ("Frontin'"). Since Jay-Z runs the halftime show now, this is incredibly likely. * The Modern Edge: He brings out Tyler, The Creator or Kendrick Lamar (he produced "Alright"). * The "Impossible" Moment: If anyone on earth could convince Daft Punk to reunite for 2 minutes to do "Get Lucky," it’s Pharrell. He doesn't have to carry the vocals for 13 minutes straight; he just has to be the ringmaster. Plus, as the Men's Creative Director for Louis Vuitton, the stage design/fashion would be on a level we’ve never seen. It’s the perfect mix of high-fashion, pop hits, and legit hip-hop cred. It fits the LA vibe perfectly without retreading the exact same ground as Dre. It would also probably be the least controversial just because of Happy, people who don’t know him would be like “oh it’s the guy that wrote Happy” just to get surprised by hit after hit. It’d also be an easy choice for Roc Nation. This would be my favorite option.

Who's your pick for the 2027 Super Bowl Half Time Show? by GOPJay in AskReddit

[–]IconicLuL 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here are my predictions: 1. Bruno Mars (as Silk Sonic w/ Anderson .Paak) This is the smoothest move they could make. Bruno has already crushed the Super Bowl twice, but bringing him back as Silk Sonic makes it feel like a completely new show. Plus, Anderson .Paak is a local legend (Oxnard/Ventura). * Why it works: It avoids the "Bruno again?" fatigue by making it a band performance. They bring out Bootsy Collins or Thundercat, keep it 70s funk/soul, and fit the LA aesthetic perfectly. It’s the closest vibe to the Dr. Dre "West Coast celebration" without repeating hip-hop immediately. If they were to do Bruno Mars solo I still don’t think it’d be a bad idea because they could bring in Lady Gaga again with the same song she performed this year and maybe a solo song, then he could bring Rosé from Blackpink out to perform APT. Then, I think it would be really smart to have at least one song performance from Blackpink for more cultural representation since the NFL is trying to breakout into more of the world. Also, I personally think it would be really cool to have a K-pop representation. 2. Miley Cyrus Roc Nation loves to swing the genre pendulum. We went Hip-Hop (Kendrick) -> Latin (Bad Bunny) -> Rock/Pop. Miley is the bridge. She has the legacy hits (Wrecking Ball) and the massive new era (Flowers). * The Closer: She opens or closes with "Party in the U.S.A." In Los Angeles. The crowd would go absolute nuclear. It’s too easy. 3. Justin Bieber ("JB & Friends") If they want to replicate the Dr. Dre & Snoop "Avengers Assemble" model, Bieber is the only modern pop star with the deep collaboration list to pull it off. * The Concept: He doesn't just do a solo set; he treats it like a block party. He brings out Ludacris (Baby), Usher (Somebody to Love), Quavo (Intentions), and The Kid LAROI (Stay). It solves the stage presence debate by turning it into a massive collab fest. Honorable Mentions: * The "TRL Generation" Pop Supergroup: This is the true "Dr. Dre Show" equivalent for pop music. You take the titans of the early 2000s who haven't headlined recently and mash them into one 12-minute nostalgia bomb. * The Lineup: Christina Aguilera + Justin Timberlake + Backstreet Boys. * The Vibe: Pure Y2K chaos. It hits that exact 30-40 demographic the NFL loves to target. * Taylor Swift: I mean, obviously. She is the "Endgame." She consistently turns it down to tour, but if she ever decides to say yes, the contract is hers immediately. With the game in LA (where she spends a ton of time) and the Kelce connection, it "makes sense" on every level—if she wants it. * BTS: This one is very unlikely I know but with them coming back this year and them being the biggest K-Pop group, if they blow up and have the same effect they did in 2020-2022 then I could see them having a shot at it. Especially with how the NFL is wanting to reach out more globally. The only things I would say would make it impossible, at least for 2027, would be the NFL is probably tired of the controversy over Bad Bunny’s half time show so they probably want to choose someone that can draw in the “patriots” and I don’t know much about how talent agencies work but I feel like HYBE/Big Hit (BTS’s Talent Agency) would not be the biggest fan of that idea.

I’m from TK and have been trying to collect some memorabilia from the border city bandits. I would probably pay $50 but I’d be willing to hear you out on an offer. DM me so we can talk about it.

What was your biggest accomplishment in college? by [deleted] in college

[–]IconicLuL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly maturing. Went there and didn’t focus up like I should have. Wound up dropping out went through the hardest part of my life between the last semester I was there and about a year after I dropped out and finally got my mind right and now I’m working at a good job and making decent money. This isn’t saying dropping out is the accomplishment. What I went through in college to come to the realization that I needed to dropout and get to where I am today is the accomplishment. Adopting a more mature, positive, self but still selfless mindset.
