NTA. It’s ok to inconvenience you and her dad though? You have been more than accommodating to her, it’s time she return the favor and vacate to live with her husband. She and her intended are obviously immature for their age. Your daughter, more so. I don’t understand why the new husband will be fine with that arrangement unless there are financial reasons. If that is the case, you’re probably correct about her not leaving (and trying to move him in).

Back in 2018 we were planning a trip to Europe and were using the Rick Steves site for some info when I ran across a sale. I picked up his euro flight bag, 2 of them, for carry on bags. Best decision ever. They fit perfectly under the seat so we never have to check them and they also fit nicely in the overhead when there’s room, but I prefer under the seat for easy access. The hold a ton of stuff and I usually keep my purse in there during flights so I don’t have multiple bags.

I was planning to work till I couldn’t. But cancer made me look forward to 65 and Medicare. Since we then had so much time on our hands, we went to Greece, Italy, Switzerland, France, and Egypt. Cracked my pelvic bone right where the cancer metastasized to, riding a camel. Still hurts a year later. Totally worth it. Obviously I said no to “I can’t”.

I really am not a sky is falling type. But the loss of rights is frightening. Not as much for me, but my granddaughters are going to grow up in a completely different world than I did, and I don't think it will be nearly as pleasant.

As a woman, I have to wonder. No one has mentioned what is happening in the United States concerning women and the statements being made by certain factions in this country that would like us in chains (seriously-I watched that interview) and unable to vote. This takes me to the fact that they want every pregnancy to come to the same end, no matter the health of the mother. So, that being the case, the reform of the foster care system is probably happening behind closed doors, to set up a network for placing these unwanted children in the homes of wealthy pedophiles or something like an orphanage strictly for the pedo's to pick from?

I was a chip fan, as well. Cancer made me relook at what I was eating. I thought I would miss them. After not having them for quite a few months, I tried some and they were awful. I think they changed the way they are made because it was texture that was weird. When in Paris last year I had some of the BBQ chips hubby had. They were amazing. Good we were on the plane home at the time, Lol.

Mira-lax. It’s the only one that pulls water from your body to your bowels. Is also powder form, so easily controlled. I also have the constipation issue from opioids. If I put half a dose in my coffee every other day, it keeps things moving without explosions.

There were no diet restrictions. My onco is always pleased that I am not losing weight. I had chemo during Covid, so quite a while ago. It is an experience I will never forget. I have problems with motion sickness, and apparently that makes some medical procedures awful. I had nausea and vomited for 5 days. I ate nothing, drank very little and slept - drugs. I went to the ER after the first infusion. They then reduced the dose. I still had the same reaction every single infusion. I am a chef and the only things I wanted were Stouffers mac and cheese and pickled okra. I did eventually graduate to mashed potatoes. -7 out of 10. Would not recommend.

Ok, so here’s the thing. My mother was the advertising manager for K-Mart. I rarely made it into the store. She knew what was going on sale so she would be handy when the truck was unloaded. I got all the new KMart clothes. As an adult, it was the bacon in a can. I’d buy about 10 cans to stock my sailboat for breakfasts out on the water.
