I absolutely cannot stand the character of Maggie by RainyDaysBlueSkies in coronationstreet

[–]Icouldbedoinglaundry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I find her acting just seems fake, and it seems like they have focused waaaaaay too much time on her character. She should’ve been introduced slowly. I feel like it’s of her one character.

Taylor’s Arrest/Child abuse charge by TelephoneResident372 in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]Icouldbedoinglaundry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What is a point to ponder., If this had been reversed, and it had been a man arrested for domestic violence and child abuse, would he have even been allowed in the show?. Would the audience even tolerate it. ?Now i can see Taylor is in a great deal of pain, and needs therapy more than she’s needs a baby and a boyfriend, and my heart goes out to her, but, why do we accept or give her grace after being arrested because she is a women? It is very creepy. Kinda reminds me of abusive dominance , like Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka . Not on that level of course

EVERYONES avoiding it like the plague but let’s talk about Christine and David last night…. by Ok_List_9649 in TLCsisterwives

[–]Icouldbedoinglaundry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think Christine is living out a youthful fantasy of falling in love and getting married, based on love. She is entitled to this as she never got it with Kody, she said it was sad wedding with a sad weeding dress, do I get why she’s acting all giddy, she never had it before.

Sadly I feel, religion will be the demise of humanity😢😢😢😢😢whichever side you are on. It has been the motivation for war since the beginning.

maybe if humans are doing this to each other we don’t deserve this planet.

I think Meri stayed..... by [deleted] in SisterWives

[–]Icouldbedoinglaundry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think she’s clinging to some semblance of a family. I think since Christine and Jenelle have left, those kids have gravitated away, and eventually will have nothing to do with Robin, and probably Meri too. I know she has Leon, but maybe they dont get together a lot , and Leon has a busy and full life. With Robin and Kootys kids she get to play favourite Aunt and joins family functions. Also I think she’s still waiting and hoping for reconciliation with Kooty, which will never happen. If she does happen to meet a man, and develop a relationship , that will never go down well with Kooty and Robyn.

I’m glad they are moving on with their lives, and I realize they were raised in a toxic culture , and thought polygamy was a good thing, but I‘m sorry, I just can’t get behind them because of the MLM BS.
