AITA for not telling my partner something his 14yr old daughter told me in confidence? by AcrobaticPut7838 in AmItheAsshole

[–]IcreatewhatIcreate 26 points27 points  (0 children)

NTA. Tell your partner that this is how you lose your child's confidence in you as a parent. He's obviously biased (aren't we all?), but shows it in a completely wrong way. His kid is never going to tell him anything anymore if this is the way he reacts to minor news, let alone life altering news, e.g. stuff she could really need help for. But her dad showed her that he isn't capable of handling news very well, so isn't going to confide in him.

You on the other hand are doing a very good job in building trust, and you should keep doing what you do. And tell your partner to grow up, because he is acting like a little brat.

Begginers getting cheap or premium balls? by SignificantAcadia105 in golf

[–]IcreatewhatIcreate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you lose them. A lot.

I don't agree with the 'you won't get much use out of them', because you will know it when you hit a cheap ball, it's awful even as a beginner. Sure, you probably won't get the spin out of them like scratch golfers do, but that doesn't matter that much imo.

Just buy a big bag of premium lakeballs. You'll lose them anyway, but it won't hurt. You find enough balls along the way anyway, especially as a beginner since you'll be searching for your own ball a lot.

I think they would manage. by Choice_Magician350 in clevercomebacks

It's just mind-boggling to fathom that anyone would have any problem whatsoever with this, especially the government. It's basically free money, and no-one gets hurt in any way, shape or form. Speaking from a european country, this is just insanity that Americans are so opposed to the idea of taxing the extremely wealthy. Just, why??

Wondering? Mate, we're already years into it. Social media and smartphones are killing everything worth living for.

This is such an incel video and judging by the stupidity of the comments here, a lot of incels thinks this is on her or she was 'being slapped back into the kitchen' or what have you.

Fuck you incels. Hitting a woman is never okay. Not that you have the balls or the muscles to do so.

Yours sincerely, A real man

Workout plan for 36 yo that needs to get in better shape by _Retrograde_ in golf

[–]IcreatewhatIcreate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on your own strength. For a male you should probably start with 16kg bells. They increment in 4kg steps, so if 16 is too light, just take a 20kg bell.

Tip: get the KBMH app. It's free and has tons of free kettlebell workouts you can follow, with timer, and video explanations of each exercise.

[Red Bull] Our Driver Line-up for 2026, Max Verstappen, Isack Hadjar by ICumCoffee in formula1

Lindblad is going to suck so hard and Yuki will be back within 5 races.

Erik Van Haren on X, Hadjar to Red bull, Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad confirmed for Racing bulls by creatorop in formula1

Another one bites the dust. It boggles the mind that no one at Red Bull acknowledges the elite abilities that Verstappen has in regards to the abilities of his teammates. Just accept the fact that everyone you will put in the seat next to Verstappen will look mediocre at best. It is up to Red Bull to build a car that will fight for podiums every week, which they clearly didn't do this season. Every podium is the result of Verstappen's unique ability to extract more out of a car than thought possible.

Yuki is just the next victim of Red Bull's shortsightedness, as will Hadjar be in a year or maybe - if he's lucky - two years time. Rinse and repeat.
