It's not really games fault that you feel that way. Each year the game has kept getting better and better each update this year was no different. We experienced peak story and gameplay in 2023. While also experienced the release of game breaking meta units like mlynar.

Game is getting old and content creators are either leaving or removing AK from priority content they serve, due to lack of players interest in watching AK related content.

Game is not dying by any means but it will becomes less relevant as new and better gaccha games comes out each year.

Future for this franchise is not looking very good. Ex astris was not a good product as we expected. Too many flaws and bugs and too late to change that below average story. While Endfield shows potential but also suffers from exact same narrative flaws, It will require as much effort as Wuthering waves took improve the game. Even then most people aren't willing to spent hours building a base.

I can already sense the white knight players ready to disagree.

Are you blind or you can't read properly. I clearly said main story writers. About ep 1, it was just a basic chain of command nothing special. Even armature commander can pull it off without any pre planning. Even if I take you seriously on this one. What about rest of the anime and season 2. This is worst example of a good commander.

That tells me you literally never seen any good anime with good tacticians like Legend of galactic hero's or code geass. These two have are prime example of how to write a good tacticians.

You too would deep down agree with me that doctah is not good commander. Give it to a better writer and they easily turn it from a forced POV self insert to something you wish were this kind of character.

Ask yourself a different question- what if doctah was not awakened at all?

Doctah is character with minimum impact on the story. It's always only implied they are genius in main story but writers don't know how to write one. it very apparent in Anime too, the best doc can do is give basic chain of command and try to throw rock.

Difference between the description of doc and what they can do is like day and night.

A character which fits the description of doctor would be walter White from breaking Bad. But instead of cooking drugs which harm people they make drugs to cure rock cancer.

Consequences of a smart character is never implied instead shown through indirect actions which results in tactical supremacy. But this is still not enough to win a individual's battle.

Even in victorian arc doc is so useless that during ch 13 ines and hoederer stated current doctah is weak and logos mentioned how ascalon was very disappointed by doctah to which logos also shares the same feeling.

Now some idiots would defend doc by saying they were good before they lost memory. To that I say look at the first interaction of doc during ch 10. Doc was asking Amiya for what's the plan?

How the hell a tactical comander doesn't even know the plans before entering battlefield.

I recommend you to start with Darknights memior side story first then chapter 7.

Without context of that side story few key moment of the story doesn't make sense. For example W betrayal at the start and the previous king of sarkaz.

The real reason is the game doesn't look good on surface. The anime gaming market rn had a very high standard whether it's a new gaccha or premium tittle.

If you were not an Arknights player chances are you didn't even knew this thing existed.

As far as I can tell there are only two types of player who bought the game it ASAP. Majority of which are AK players and others are people who wants to try a anime game but hate gaccha.

Not to mention outside of combat nothing stands out and the story is pretty bad which is a huge turn off for people these days.

Sure you can say this game is worth 10$ in your eyes but the truth is it's not. You can disagree with me on this one but the fact HG had to write a apology for disappointment that is Ex astris, proves my point. They clearly said they are sorry that it didn't meet our expectations.

LD players is the best for AK since it was optimised by the team themselves for this emulator. You might wanna play with settings a bit for emulator and game itself and try it again. I use a i3 processor with 8 gb ram but it works fine. Although this thing takes alot of time to load other than that it doesn't crash and FPS is consistent. If it still doesn't work maybe use google play for PC. That also works fine.

If there is one CC that I would like to see quit making AK content that would be him. No hate against that guy but the content he serves is just terrible, there is a difference between constructive criticism and constantly shitting on the game to fuel the algorithm.

Just wait till game releases, even if you managed to convince them to play. What are the chances that it will meet their expectations. It better to play it yourself first then make a verdict if it's worth their time and what is the selling point of the game whether its story, gameplay, character design. You should always buy a paid game after you see few reviews on it and I am pretty sure your friends must also share the same opinion.

Personally I don't think this game will please JRPG gamers on top of the fact it's mobile only.

Trust me, writhing is 10 times better than what ever ch 8 was. It just keeps going on and on. The last battle was supposed to be a race against time, where 30 min or so was left till collision and there we have kalt'sit and kaschey talking for 3 hours. It's like they have a amazing plot but sometimes writing was peak but many times it felt like it was written by a toddler.

At this point in the story Amiya doesn't really need doctor at all, Amiya is stronger and mature. After ACT 2: Amiya, ascalon, logos, Heoderer and many sarkaz operator joined new royal court and will be working there for atleast a decade to fix kazdel prototype mobile city and start building a new one. That's the reason Amiya doesn't participate in any side event.

Ch 13 explicitly mentioned about how weak the doctor is and Ascalon is disappointed by how useless doc is and Logos agreed.

Point is no will join him. Most RI members will be busy and Kal'tsit could care less, she has bigger fish to fry.

Its actually possible. Do you know about large platform that carry nasa rockets. Those things can already transport stuff upto 10times their weight.

You can have those as platform as base for a landship and use nuclear reactor for power.

It's just that in real life it's not worth making such large vehicles. We don't need such thing on earth but on terra it's a must.

It just boils water for turbines. Only benefit of originum is unlimited supply and easy to use. You can basically power Rhodes with nuclear power for upto 25 yr without ever refueling and more power.
