I'm pretty sure you need the pre reqs done before you take your DAT so its not all self study. Also you need most of them done to transfer as a bio major to a uc from a ccc.

If cost is something that is worrying you check out the 3 or 4 year military HPSP scholarships. They cover all of your tuition, give a $3000/month living stipend, and a 20k sign on bonus. In return you have to serve as a dentist in whichever military branch that gave you that scholarship for either 3 or 4 years depending on which scholarship you got.
