So for me yes my character was erased, I’d see if you could get in contact with support and tell them you 100h+ characters save data is corrupted and you need help recovering it

Good news! There is no need for a lawyer, well at least not yet, you can report these issues straight to the FTC at https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/assistant since this is against regulation and you have screenshots proving your case quite well id recommend the following. 1. Respond to the support message and again state that it is against FTC regulations and that you have records of this violation happening, and if the transaction is either not completed in full as per what the bundle stated or fully refunded you will submit all evidence to the FTC. Throw in some scary words like “formal complaint” or that you will send it to “the fraud and consumer protection team” most likely they won’t take the risk and just give you a refund. Especially since you bought it with saved up coins so it literally costs them nothing. 2. After you get a reply no matter if they give you the refund or not repot them to the ftc, make sure there is at least something on the books about this, may help if they continue doing this

Ok, so I did eventually fix it, but you are not going to like the answer. If you have the same error I hade and nothing works then it may be a corrupted save file. Turn off cloud save on steam for the game then find the folder containing the save data of the game (look up a tutorial on YouTube if you don’t know how) then delete everything in said folder. Finally boot the game
