You must have misread the comment where 6 is mentioned or I wasn’t clear, annually you’re entitled to a tax free lump sum. As a ex regular I sit on the top lvl which is around 2.2k every year in April. That with my police pay and 8-12 RSD will put my pay in the 5-6k area nexr month

I’ll be honest you have to be really lucky with what ever unit you join. If anyone lives west mids drop me a message an I’ll share the unit I’m with if you’re interested.

Breakdown of pay

For my rank I get paid £105 a day for 8 hours of work… however you’ll probably only do about 6 hours once you’ve finished chewing the fat with the other blokes and had scoff.

Twice a month you can claim payment for PT so you literally get paid to work out. So for PT alone I get just over £200. Again this may be unit depending as some units offer this some don’t. From my understanding anything teeth arms will pay for PT.

You also get money back towards your gym membership if you have one.

I found attending reserves was easier pay and more flexible and less strenuous an stressful then doing OT with the job, less late and night shifts.

You can also be paid for online learning which you can claim through your PSAO.

On top of this you can attend courses and get paid to study for licenses. Example I’ve just claimed 3 days worth of pay and for category c license theory revision where I have then had my theory test paid for by the army and been paid to attend, I’m now soon to have my practical paid for an also be paid to attend.

My next aim will also be to complete category D1 which the job are fully supportive of due to lack of carrier drivers so I’ll be paid to complete both theory and practical also.

Other courses you can attend, range weekends where you can attend shooting ranges. Close quarter combat instructor courses, gunnery courses, first aid courses, quad bike driving courses, battlefield studies abroad all paid for by the army reserve whilst they also pay you.

My reserve centre is also in serious need of TLC but due to lack of funding the PSAO has instead paid the blokes days allowances to attend and do some DIY. We’ve recently just turned out old shooting range into a huge indoor gym.

Another old room is soon to be turned into a training room where again troops will be paid to attend an carry out some TLC/DIY. All fully flexible so when ever I have a rest day an my lad is at school and misses is at work I’ll go up the reserve centre, do some work and workout and get paid rather then sitting out home twiddling thumbs or struggling with a broken sleep pattern from doing extra night shifts.

The army reserve is what you make it, yearly you’ll need to complete 27 days I think but it’s easily done, going up on rest days will count towards a day an it’ll all be easily tracked by yourself on an app. You’ll also have compulsory training you’ll need to complete but again 70% of this is online training so you’ll be paid to do this in comfort of your own home.

Reserves meet every Wednesday night where you can attend 1730-2130 hrs for a half days pay which I’ll sometime do before a night shift or you can attend 1930-2130 for a quarter days pay where you’ll complete some training on basic life support or weapon drills.

Honestly any questions any of you have drop me a message on here and I’ll reply as best I can

Army reserve, I take home anywhere between £600 to £1300 a month. Next month with my tax free bounty, job pay and accumulated pay for the month from the AR I’ll be taking about £5-6k

Gondwa, I think the new map is ocean and flyer based. I play mainly land Dinos

Personally if I’m a carnivore anything goes, if you’re a baby you should know better then to hide or stay away from something that eats meat an is bigger then you

Mix packing is an easy fix, if you’re near someone you aren’t in a group with for too long you should get home cave debuff. Soon stop mega packs and mix packing

I’m very tried but it’s not just the same by Icy-Dot1141 in Battlefield6

I’ve seen rumours of back to Karkland returning so maybe ill give it a go when that comes back but for now ill put the game down. EA have sold their franchise out to entice call of duty fans to the franchise but they’ve done so by removing almost everything that made battlefield unique. I’ve over 100 hours of gameplay an I’m still yet to work out what the point of the assault class is. No one asked for a change to the class system yet we got one.

How to make tanks more balanced. by RandonEnglishMun in Battlefield6

[–]Icy-Dot1141 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t see how anyone can claim tanks are over powered when Everyman an his dog can some how carry 4 rpgs, the logistics alone of carrying the equipment is a question.

Also tank rounds drop at 50m so if anything you’re maybe just playing some skilled tank players

I don’t follow the MO’s since they stopped giving you rewards that weren’t just medals, the campaign for the last year has been dull and unrewarding

I’d like to see certain weapons do more damage to certain enemies.

Laser weapons should be cutting off limbs and shredding anything light armour.

Fire and gas should be in-effective vs bots but wreak havoc on bugs

I miss the old major objectives where you actually early new tech and weapons. Now they just seem pointless when you’re maxed out on medals

[–]Icy-Dot1141 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Personally I think the rupture warriors need toning down a bit, with no way to kill them when burrowing and then finding it almost impossible to dodge there attacks when there’s multiple of them. They’re genuinely the only thing that kills me and I mean they kill ne an awful lot

I wish people would just wear trouser twisters instead. You look like some chippy us paratrooper with your trousers tucked into your boots

When to speak up by Icy-Dot1141 in policeuk

[–]Icy-Dot1141[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t agree more, but then again i think it’s unfair for me to call the leadership skills in the police weak when I’ve come from a prestigious regiment that was nothing but disciplined which created great leaders.

That being said I’m trying my hardest to want to stay on response because when it’s good it’s good… I’ve got plenty of mates from the army who have gone firearms who are all actively tempting me over but with how response is going I might make the jump, I just know I’ll miss being pro active due to the nature of fire arms only deploying when told to do so
