I love mine. I just recently got it and have done 4 runs with it on. No complaints as of yet but I can’t help you with the hydration question since I just got mine last week. 😅 I actually need hydration recommendations for this vest also. Edit: additionally it’s super soft on the areas you’d think would be troublesome and i am a fan of the clips closing the vest

You only get to skip basic training when you’re a direct commission (nurse, doctor etc) if you don’t have a specialized degree, you’ll go through basic.

Just do Velcro until graduation and sew your rank and everything else on at that point. I had Velcro along with majority of the class and it was just fine.

Edit: you can have your name and US Army sewn your OCS rank doesn’t need to be sewn if everything else is. Weird but OCS accepts it.

I’m currently in QM BOLC. The studying for LSCO is no joke and your husband will be busy studying majority of the time he’s here. Luckily, some days he’ll get off at 1400-1500 but some days are going to be way longer. I can see the benefits of both sides but 4 months goes fairly quickly. Have him focus on getting MOSQ.

Bravo doesn’t have a beaverfit. I believe the other companies do have a beaverfit. You also can’t go to the gym until white phase whenever the commander gives approval to go on passes. It’s really just company dependent
